i walked over to the open vent and sized it up, i would fit in the vent but not without a bit of trouble.

"Waylon do you have a plan yet?" She asked in a bored tone. "I'm starting to get more worried for you than I am for me." She said in a now serious voice.

i looked at allison and sensed she was somewhat annoyed with waylon, the only person i trusted in this place, "go easy on him will ya?" i asked walking over to allison and putting a hand on her shoulder.

"It's just hard, I don't want to die here, but I guess in the end it doesn't really matter. Why would the world accept us if they put us here?" She asked as her tail drooped. It was true and that they might as well just die here.

my ears and tail drooped hearing this, i started to believe it but then i thought about the outside, "don't give up, we will get out of here and see the outside, we all havent been outside in a long time and i plan on getting out one way or another." i said stubbornly.

"Well good for you some of us lost hope long ago." She said in a bored tone. It was true, she lost hope so long ago, and probably some others did to.

"i didn't think it possible to escape this place till a little bit ago, the security went haywire and we could leave through the vents if nothing dangerous can squeeze in there." i said as my temper rose at the thought of staying down here the rest of my life.
