Aku slapped her tail tip down on the ground. Hard. showing her impatience and the ryori came out of hiding hearing it. Aku packaged up the items and gave it to the ryori to deliver.
"The scales will have the price on them. Thanks for the purchase!"

Humming his tuneless song once more, the man did not react to anything said by the shopkeeper. Instead he adjusted his sunglasses and and tiptoed around the cave looking at any available item. At one point he knelt to the ground listened to the floor. He stayed there for a long minute before nodding and turning once more to the dragon.
"Your wares are many but my funds limited. Please pay close attention to what I wish to know the cost of."
He raised his stick, an item pulled from who knows where, in front of him as one would a sword. He swayed from side to side before swiftly swinging it to the floor and.... breaking it in two. With both pieces in his hand he performed a complicated tapping dance. At random intervals he would gesture with both sticks to an object in the room.
After the last item was identified, he began skipping around the shopkeeper while one of the sticks beat a rhythm on his leg.

Aku watched the being's movements for a bit and took out another sheet of paper from a box. Allowing the pen to write on it as the being spoke of what he wanted. Once done; Aku looked at the paper to review it then like last time floated it over to the being so that he could see it.
"Pardon the mass repeat of price. Some don't have a broker price so I went with a fixed number. One is priced a bit highly; apologies. We have no clue where to price it at is all."
He barely looked at the page before it too dropped to the floor entirely forgotten.
"Yes, yes, another fine display of your pricing skills. All seems well except for that one price several hundred."
The man scratched his beard, or he would have if he had a beard, and appeared contemplative.
"Give me everything else. I will think on that expensive one. One in my position cannot make rash decisions, oh lovely one. Let that be a lesson for you. I must consider the meanings of life in every choice I make."
He turned around and stuck his chin in the air.
"And so that you do not strain yourself, the total will be four hundred twenty-five thousand small gold nuggets exactly."
And with that effort, he fell over like a ragdoll.

Aku nodded and put away the questionable item. She packed up everything else and when the ryori floated back she gave it the package. The ryori shot Aku a glare before floating out of the cave with the items.
"That is fine. I understand it well. Especially during the first week of fests. Gods everything can get too darn pricey."
She rolled her eyes afterward and stretched.
"Don't think that item will go anywhere anytime soon so think on it as much as you'd like. I don't mind a good haggle either. Ah right; The pink gingerbread topping will have the total price. Thanks for totaling it out for me."
