"I can't help him up, he's already standing. And he's way taller than me, I can't carry him." she snapped, obviously unhappy with the whole situation. She kept one arm around the boy, however, still trying to support him. She looked up at him and rolled her eyes. "Are you okay?"

As he was put back on his feet he stumbled. "I can stand." He said with a huff holding his bleeding side. With that he walked over to the trapped boy, picking him up in his arms. The wolf came panting to him as he did this. "We should get going." He huffed. "Follow me, all of you."

Clutching Leif, she snuck with the group. It had to be safe, she thought

"Can you tell me what's happening?" Jatara asked, her voice shaking as she tried to calm herself. "Please?" She crossed her arms and glared, her silver eyes showing defiance.

He looked at the girl a second and sighed. "That black dragon, she is looking for you. She wants to us you to gain your powers, to use them for corrupting the world. If I hadn't been here she would have taken you..."

"So... she would have killed us. Why us? Is it because my eyes are different?" Such a fuss, just over eye color. That was strange. "And you can turn into a dragon! Care to tell me what that's about?" Jatara hissed.

Asha followed the group from the distance. The animals that had not stayed behind in the pet shop, still following her. She pet the kitten in her arms. This was crazy, maybe she had finally lost it... or maybe the man had really come to steal from her and she had fainted from fright and was now having a weird, crazy dream.

As the boy wiggles from his grit his arms fell to his sides, holding te bleeding spot. "It's not just the color of your eyes, it's what they mean. Each of you has the blood of one of the dragon gods in your veins. You all can change like me, though not now most likely unless taught by your parents. I know it's a lot to take in but I will explain it all in depth when we get to safety."
