"There's a badger?!" Finch cried, looking up at Cherokee. "Is it close to the camp? Should we all be concerned?"
Finch suddenly pushed his piece of moss down onto one of the pieces, imitating a cat pouncing onto it.
"Surprise!"

Her blue-violet eyes widened and she nodded. "Yes, we should- who was it?" Of course, having spoken with Cherokee before multiple times, she was used to his lack of eye contact.

Cherokee paid attention to the game more than Kai, "A mage. It serves no purpose to mention their name" (It was Glowdusk/ Emberfall777) Cherokee lifted his paw and pushed this second piece of moss forward, making the first keep Finch's piece distracted until it was surrounded. He was posed to block any escape routes with circling.

*GlowDusk*
I am deep in a hunting tunnel now, my suspicions confirmed. Just beyond the next turn I can see out of the corner of my eye, a large badger. The creature seems angry and I pause, trying to decide how to best approach the beast. I take a deep breath and with an angry yowl leap at the badger, trying to land on its back. Luckily I had remembered to leap low and straight, even so the fur on my spine brushes against the tunnel ceiling. I dig in my claws and crouch flat on the badger, desperately clinging on as it charges around the narrow space.

(Note: that far up in the tunnels, there is no way a badger would be able to get in. If one got in, it'd be at the end of a tunnel much further along with several hours of walking. Plus, no mage would be able to take on a badger alone without being killed almost immediately.)

Finch's eyes widen
"I have made a mistake."
His tail twitches, unsure of what he could do.
"So... I lose?"

Cherokee nodded briskly, standing up. His tail flicked emotionlessly and he turned to pad away, unless the youth wanted to say anything else.

Finch said as Cherokee left "Thank you! Maybe one day I'll be as good as you!" before coughing and cleaning up the moss scattered on the floor.

Cherokee
Cherokee grunted in reply and padding back off to the entrance of the camp, jumping back up the the ledge beside the waterfall to continue guarding.
Arico
She skidded out of the youths den into the camp, looking around for Delinqua, carrying a leaf she'd found int he den this morning. She had no idea what the green thing was.

((Noted, I will just say he fell asleep in the tunnel and dreamed of the badger))
