"Well I'm sticking around too, you have me," Alyssa chimed in, harpoon banging against her back.


Belle saw the strange mermaid creature by Serenity and snatched the fainted girl away, swiping a knife at the monster. "Get back!"

Please, Im just trying to help! Axi said, leaning back to avoid the knife

"Stay away!" Edenia shrieked, pulling her away. "What are you thinking! you've just put our entire species at risk?! If that human gets away, countless mermaids will be mercilessly slaughtered!" Edenia shouted

Axi sighed, and retreated back under water

Not wanting to waste anymore time, Edenia gripped her weapon tightly, charging into the bottom of the boat, stabbing a hole through it, letting some seawater in.

Axi retreated to the cove, pouting like a small child would

Alyssa Glowheart aimed her harpoon and fired it into the hull of the ship. Her private entourage (if that's okay, since she's noble) aimed and did the same, firing in different areas. "Pull!" They all pulled, the boat smashing against a rock beneath the water. The ship groaned with the stress. "Keep going!"

Alice hurried back to the cave with David. She knew she would have to teach David the dangers. She knew it was no longer safe for him to not know. She looked at him. He was looking so nervous. He was fidgeting with the shell so much she was worried he would cut himself with it on accident. She gave him a smile and he noticed it. He gave a nervous smile back.

Ren struggled still and managed to get the sails down. "We're not going to make it!" Ren shouted. He knew they wouldn't make it. He could feel it in his gut. Something wasn't right.

Adrian swam up to his older sister, Edinia. "Hey, what're you doing?" He asked, looking at the boat that was starting to fall apart. He was holding a small spear in his hand. "Can I help?"

Aaron looked at the mermaids that had come to join him and yelped. "You're a- you're a-" His grip slipped and he desperately grabbed and readjusted his grip. "Yeah, I'm stuck."

Joyce heard the sickening crack and scrape of the hull against a rock. He desperately made the ship turn to starboard. A crew member ran up from below. "She's filling up!" They yelled. Joyce shook his wet hair out of his eyes. "NO!!! SHE CAN'T!!! Throw the cargo out, and anything else weighing us down!"

Pika, you stay here. Axi said, swimming to the boat. She tried to dodge the crates
