Amelia texted her friend Kacita. Kace, where are you? The dance started and you have to make your speech!! Hurry here!

Chill Mimi, the speeches aren't until later in the night, I'm almost there Kacita texted back. Checking her clock, she had a little over 45 minutes until she had to go up and preform.

Oh come on Diana typed quickly, chiding her friend. Come early and socialize for once, Kaci She looked back up at the others, smiling at the small group. "Ready to go to the clearing?" It was the first year the school was using the small lot behind it, and only because the council had insisted it would be perfect for the end of the year.

"Alrighty." Alviur nodded, thankful his sisters weren't there

"We'll go, Kaci knows where to meet us."

Alviur nodded and said "Right behind you."

I'm on my way now Kacita said, just finishing up her makeup as she made sure her dress looked nice as she walked over to the clearing behind the school, a wave of nausea suddenly coming over her. She shrugged it off, hoping it would pass and she wouldn't embarrass herself

"Kaci!" Diana waved, sprinting over to the blonde girl. "Ready for the speeches?"

"Yeah, I got my-hrrp!" Kacita began to pull her notecards out of her purse, but was suddenly cut off by suddenly gagging, trying not to puke "uck- right here" She quickly recomposed herself, looking through the notecards. "I might need a few minutes to compose myself though, I've been feeling kinda nauseous." She shrugged

"Hmm... okay." She sighed, leading Kacita away. "Please tell me this is just nerves. Okay, never mind, please tell me that whatever it is, It'll be gone soon?" She glanced around, making sure no one was listening.
