Name- Nightcaller

Gender- Male

Monster Type*- Living Nightmare/Shadow (Depends on who you ask)

Personality- Nightcaller is a notorious lier, but with the sweetest of poisoned promises on his tongue. He's manipulative and secretive, the words on the wind that persuade those to do things they will most certainly regret. While not usually a physical fighter, Nightcaller simply wishes to see the 'good guys' turn on their friends. He loves to see his foes writhe in fear as he brings forth their most terrifying histories and secrets into hallucinogenic reality. He allies only with those who desire the same things he does, and enjoys every moment of agony the enemy goes through. He may dislike the light, but as long as there's shade, nowhere's safe.

Relationship- Sorry, he's never going to be in one. He loves to watch those suffering from heartbreak though.

Tribe- Hell's Keep


(I sketched this out when I was bored, and then I decided he would make a fun character here)
Colors: Body is a deep purple-black, with the 'spikes' being a dark grey. The 'drool' is a pitch black color. Eye is blood red, with a bright green background.

Nightcaller's abilities revolve mainly around creating hallucinations of his foes' worst fears and deepest, darkest secrets. All it takes is a deep gaze into the eye on his chest for the ability to activate, but it takes much longer for it to start to take a stronger hold on the victim. This makes it much easier for him to single out victims instead of attempting to use it while fighting a group.

He also can track a single victim by injecting some of his black 'drool' into them. However, this lasts only for a single day, and can be cleansed by alchemists who know what they're looking for.

That being said, Nightcaller has immense physical strength, but it requires him to be in his physical form. He can only exist as such in the shade during the day, or at night, when the sun has slipped away. He can only achieve a half-state during the day (main sketch) which is smaller and weaker than his full state at night (small picture; just note that he gets a pair of legs and a tail). His full state is over double the size of his half-state (goes from about four feet tall to eight-and-a-half feet tall). You'd think he'd use this form more often to fight physically, but he knows better than to go in blind. He always makes sure there isn't anyone who can use some sort of light magic, his main weakness.

He can be physically harmed, but only in his physical states. His blood is the same pitch black color as his 'drool'.

Even when not in his physical form, he exists as a moving shadow, capable of speaking quietly to those close close to him. He often uses this form to disguise himself as a person's silhouette, deceiving his victim by saying his words are actually the words of their conscious.
