Nanashi grinned back at Jack.

'Good to see you so full of energie. We could use some of that.' (Nanashi actually loves Jack's youthfullness, it gives a fresh perspective of things that older pack leaders might not have thought off. He does think Jack has room for some growing up, but has high hopes for him )

'But back to topics. I was thinking of something similar. Fusing our lands. Not our packs, because that could become confusing for some. But my land becomes yours and your land becomes mine. All of the Lupora's of our packs to free to roam in both lands. Of course this does not change the fact we do not have enough Lupora's to cover all that land and keep it and the creatures on it safe from Nao. Expending our packs seems like a good idea. Problem is there are not many new Lupora's around. I have heard of a few smaller packs living about 3 days away from here. Perhaps we could try to convince those smaller packs to join ours. Their lands have less prey and shelter then ours so they might agree. The only problem there would be their pack leaders. Would do accept dropping their title for more land/prey and shelter? ''

Nanashi was thinking mostly out loud.


''Another idea I have, but this one might be a bit tricky...is to make Nao's pack smaller. No I am not talking about killing pack members that are out on their own. That is not our way. But I know there are pack members there that do not agree with Nao. Perhaps we can find a way for those lupora to join our packs...BUt this would take either an infiltrant, or a pack member of Nao risking his or her life to help us in this, because we can nto just wlak into Nao's pack withoud him noticing. This is dangerous...but it would weaken Nao and help those trapped in his rule..''

Then Nanashi looked at Jack waiting for him to reply again.

Jack pondered at their situation. "Perhaps they would surrender their positions..." He muttered to himself, but then spoke to Nanashi again in his normal voice. "But some would not. From experience of being a pack leader, I'd hate losing my position!" He said, jumping up and down, not wanting to think about it.

"But then again, why not do it like this? Since we have bigger land, they can /still/ be pack leaders, but a lesser position than ours, and a bigger position than of our pack since they are pack leaders with smaller lands, while we have more resources." He said, but then shook his head. "That'd create a big community though." He said wondering if there would be a lupora utopia someday.

Nanashi was thinking about what Jack said.

'You know? That just might work. We will have to look out for what type of leaders they are though. If their pack loves them this plan is a good one. But if they dislike their leaders we might have to take over the pack instead. But that might be walking ahead of the facts....''

'It would be best if we went ourselves, however because it's a 3 day trip that would mean we would be gone for at least 6 days. Probably more. That would give Nao to much of a chance to strike. Because of that it might be better to send a strong representative in our stead. One we trust.''

'As for the repressed Lupora in Nao's pack... I really want t find a way to get them out of there. But if you prefer not to mix your pack mates in that I understand.''

Pack 2

Hiyano was flying in the air wandering around wondering what he should do that day. He was thinking about going to visit Majona when he saw Jack and the Dawn Paws leader Nanashi talking and decided to go find out what they were talking about. He began to go into a lazy spiral dive that would nearby them. When he landed he stayed of to the side for a little bit deciding he would wait for them so he sat down a little smile on his face.

Nanashi was waiting for Jack to reply when he noticed one of Jack's packmates standing nearbye. He looked at Jack and nodded to the lupora's direction. It was a silent question if it was ok to go on with this new lupora nearby. Nanashi did not mind but this was not his pack nor his land.

Jack looked at Hiyano and then to Nanashi. The pack leader gave a small whistle and Snow Storm flew over in a flash, remembering a call that jack had given to him when he was needed/necessary. "Hiyano! Nice to see you~!!" Jack said, playfully jumping onto the lupora and then doing a little wrestling with the lupora.

"I'm a bit /busy/ actually, that's the worst time to be around with me D= We're talking about some boring stuff, why not have a flying/running race with Snow Storm over here? :3 He's one of the fastest!" Jack said, jumping up and down. He pushed the purple wolf to Snow Storm in a flash, and then moved to another place with Nanashi for the time being. "Ahhh...it looks like fun..." He thought in his head. He really wanted to have wings too, like them!

"Ah!" Jack said, coming back to the realization he had to talk with Nanashi. "I agree, it's not so bad if another pack can join land with ours, unless they try to destroy our resources, that is. U.U " He said, thinking about it a second time. "But still, I won't be opposed to it :> " The pack leader said with a final nod and waited for Nanashi to reply.

Nanashi raised an eyebrow. 'Boring stuff huh? I would usualy agree that poilitics are boring, but I find the risk of our pack mates dying not a boring matter.''

He said it in a light tone though. He had a feeling that is not What Jack ment at all. It just came out wrong probebly. It was more in an amused relaxed tone.

Nanashi also noticed Jack looking at the ones with wings.

'There are more importand matters then playing, with all due respect Jack. I love that you still have this playfull nature. I believe more pack leaders should find some time to just play once in a while. But you have to look out not to let it become to much. You need to learn to find a balance if you wish for your pack and for other packs to respect you. By all means, play when you have the time too, but if your mind wanders off to playing while we are discussing the safety of our packmates that means you still have to find this balance.''

(None attacking, it was more advice from a pack leader who has been around for a while and has seen several packs fall for different reasons, nanashi believes Jack will make a great pack leader once he finds that balance and matures a little more. )

'But back to Topic. I will send 2 of my pack members to the other packs then to see if they wish to join. I will asume you will do the same. Extra patrol on the borders might not be a bad idea either.''


'Moving on to Nao's pack. You have not answerd to my wish to help the surpressed Lupora in Nao's pack. Do you wish to help me on this or do you prefer to keep your pack out of the way in this one. I would understand if you did. Moving into them is more dangerous then just defending ourselves and our land.'

Jack stiffened up. "I understand, Nanashi." Jack said, with a slight sense of silence. "I am willing to suppress Nao's pack by all means. He has to be put a slight stop sometimes, but I feel like he needs to be taught more than a lesson this time." Jack said, and looked at the way Nao's pack might've been at. "There's a certain lupora I know of in Nao's pack, and for one that lupora is being restrained from leaving his pack."

Jack was a bit restless. "I'm a bit nervous about this though. I've heard Nao would kill any lupora and may even eat them. I ain't doubting it though." Jack said, shaking his head. "So many luporas fell the Nao's feet."

'I agree, Jack. I know for sure that he would. We have to be carefull at all times. It would help greatly if this lupora you know would help us, I will not however expect it from him or her. I will not force anyone to risk their lives against their will. Try to discuss it with this Lupora if you can. I will try to reach out to the surpressed Lupora as well. I would infeltrate myself if I could. But a pack leader needs to stay with his pack as often as possible, and Nao knows my face to well.'

Nanashi hated that he could not risk only himself in this. That he had to risk others as well. It was the only way to safe the surpressed members of Nao's pack. This did not mean he had to like it.

'So jack, please let me know once you have news from this Lupora. Make sure that he or she knows that those lupora's can find refugee with us.'

Nanashi looked around, and smiled. Most Lupora seemed peacefull here. Nanashi hoped it would stay like that.

Jack nodded to Nanashi. But something hit him in his mind as she realized something. "Actually, I know a good friend of mine in my pack who would probably want to get this suppressed lupora more than me. I'll send Snow Storm. He will not be afraid to take the risks, and I as a leader will repent for my sins if he does not make it back alive." He said, looking at the lupora who flew off with Hiyano.
