Eventually, the tracks lead over a ridge, and down into a ravine. It seems very dangerous, with the churning, roaring water.

You scramble down into the ravine, carrying new cuts and bruises. You walk along the edge of the ravine. A putrid scent enters your nostrils.

The scent seems to be coming from the corpse of a massive panther. Two gaping holes are pierced through it's neck. Perhaps there is a extremely rare snake nearby...

If there's a snake dangerous enough to take down a panther I better be careful while exploring. (Poor Panther)
