The travel was long, but all the way Fluffers could of nothing but about how happy she was to have her brother back. Sure, he may look... different. But it's so much better than him not being there at all. Fluffers felt so happy, that she jumped in the air and fluttered her wings.
Then, she realized that she wasn't going back down. Fluffers was hovering in the air. She felt as if she would be scared, but instead she was curious. "Hey Thorn! Look, I'm flying!" she shouted down to her brother, waving.
(Fluffers was not able to fly before being ghost btw)
Thorn looked up to see his sister floating in the air. His mouth dropped open, "What are doing!?" he shouted, filled with concern. There was no way Fluffers could be suspended in the air, without being terrified out of her mind.
But there she was, waving her paws in the air, struggling to control her flight.
"Wait there, I'm coming!" He shouted up to her, and tried to climb a tree, when he started to float too. Seeing the ground getting further and further scared him.
Fluffers grabbed him by the paw, and started to pull him around as she flew, "Look, I'm getting the hang of it!"
Thorn desperately wanted it to stop. He want to get back on the ground now. ...but he couldn't look scared in front of Fluffers. He needed to be strong! For her!
"Errrrr... good for you!" Being pulled through the air was nauseating.

The draeyl nodded before filling out the rest of the forms and sliding them across the desk, along with a bulging envelope labeled "Apt. 202." "I just need your signatures on the respective forms, and be sure to put that you're siblings on each other's forms. That envelope contains your apartment keys."
Alala watched the two before adding, "After you go back and settle in your apartments, I'd apply for jobs. Who knows, maybe I'll see a new ghost in the guard towers? Anyway, I need to report back, but if you need anything, I live at the top of the middle guard tower." The Lupora left through the front doors before opening her wings and taking off, leaving a small cloud of dust swirling in the dirt.
Luciana was delighted at the thought of having new friends again, and her light glowed brighter before she said to the puffadore, "Since we're friends now, if you like, you can call me Luci." She flew above him as they came to the town gate, fluttering around in excitement. She thought she saw a glimpse of green and pink and heard voices as she happily darted above the trees, but she didn't yet want to leave her new friend to investigate.

Zerial mumbled the words he was writing to himself while finishing the form. When Vilas was done as well, Zerial smiled and gave the papers back to the Draeyl. "Thanks for helping us, miss." After everything was finished, he and Vilas walked out of town hall and headed to the apartments where their new home was. He didn't really like the silence between them, so he asked Vilas, "Do you think we'll have neighbors? And if we do, what do you think they'll be like?"
Vilas hummed at her brother's question and responded, "I bet that if we have neighbors, they'll be nice. Everyone else has been so far, so why should it stop at the neighbors? I just hope that If we do have neighbors that I can get along with them." Vilas was much more confident when it was just her brother. her voice was stronger and even her posture seemed less meek.

Thorn was relieved when Fluffers had finally stopped pulling him around. They were now hovering above a group of trees. Thorn tried to get back on the ground. Progress was slow, until suddenly he shot through the trees, and was now hovering above a group of Sylesties. Scared of being discovered, he quickly tried to go back as fast as he could. He managed to back to his sister, and was breathing hard from the tension.
"Are you okay?" Asked Fluffers concerned, "What was there?"
"A group of Sylesties." Replied Thorn. Fluffers seemed to fly up a few inches when he said that, "Isn't that what we're looking for?" She said. In her excitement, Fluffers grabbed thorn again, and pulled him through the trees. Fluffers was going a little too fast, and they both crashed into the ground.
(I love young characters, because then I have an excuse to make them super goofy)

Merikh stalked through the trees silently, mentally cursing his neon colors, hoping he wouldn't be spotted. He just needed line of sight with the town's wall, and he'd be able to succeed...with a lot of luck, of course. When the wall came in his line of view, he breathed a sigh of relief, despite not needing the air. He slunk into the underbrush, made eye contact with the wall, and teleported. He was momentarily disoriented when he reappeared, but after he shook his head, the world stopped spinning and he dashed for cover. Peeking out from a bush near the wall, he saw he had teleported to several identical buildings, with numbered doors. 199...201...202.

Luciana whirled around when she heard a small 'oof' behind her, and saw two young bulbori in a heap on the ground. "Are you all right?" she cried in alarm, fluttering over to them. Noticing their slightly translucent bodies, she gulped and hoped they were both ghosts like her. She would let a poltergeist go, but she wasn't too sure about Finian.

Fluffers looked up, to see a Lumara starting at her, along with two puffadores who hadn't noticed her yet. She was embarrassed about the rough landing, and the way this lumara was looking at her, wasn't helping. Fluffers quickly looked over at Thorn. Thorn was still recovering from the landing, and hadn't acknowledged the sylesties yet.
Fluffers wanted to run, but she knew she couldn't. She tried to say hello, but it only came out as faint whisper. She looked back at Thorn, who was now getting to his feet. 'Hurry up!' she wanted to say. Fluffers could barely speak without him by her side. Her ears flopped back with nervousness and embarrassment. She could only look at the ground, waiting for Thorn to help her. She knew that the puffadores would notice them any moment now, and what would she do then?
