Favian had immediately taken to the air, startled, after Sylesti had started yelling about the cliff. Each beat of his wings caused a clicking clockwork ticking to take place, a sound that was pleasing to his ears, which were currently laid flat against his head in stress and fear. It didn't help his paws usually shook when he was up in the air, since he had to stop himself from instinctively making swimming motions with all his legs.
If his wings hadn't worked, he'd still be on that cliff...that crumbling, dangerous cliff. How had he not noticed the danger before? If he were on the ground, he'd smack a paw on his snout.
"The ones without wings should get off this cliff, and then the ones with wings can just take off!" He suggested tentatively. He wasn't sure if anyone was going to hear him...but they seemed to have the situation under some shaky control. He sighed, still frightened. He wondered when his heart would stop pounding in his chest.

(Sorry it took me a while to respond, heheh... also you know how a dog/cat will start trying to swim when you hold them in the air or above water, even thought they're not in water? That's what I imagine Favian is trying not to do.)

Charlotte was just about to introduce herself when there was a great consternation came squabbling from the library. Like many others, Lesion stopped and looked in the direction that Ramsey and the others were flying to witness some crazy zolnixi cub in a set of clockwork steam wings attempting to do some silly thing or another with the cliff side about to give way. Apart of him wanted to rush to their aid, however he knew that his mass would just speed up the erosion of the rock base. So he offered the only option he could to Charlotte. "Best we seek a little shelter in case the rocks start falling this way missy. Just as well, I think I have some business to attend to this way." He led Charlotte to the house next to The Torpor's Den where he saw Renn's silhouette through the window. He walked onto the covered porch and politely wrapped his claws against the timber. "Ahoy neighbor! Tis the inn-keep next door, I wanted to come wish you a good morning, but there might be a little trouble to sully this fine morning!" He called through the door.

Favian was mortified he was getting so much attention in all the wrong ways, but at the moment, his body figured if it stayed totally still, nobody would notice him. His mind knew this was highly irrational, but he couldn't think of anything else to do, so for the moment, he stayed suspended in flight, his clockwork wings ticking.
