You look at the egg letting the light from the fire hit the eggs shell. It was a beautiful purple with a blue iridescent sheen. It had an almost sandstone like texture to it. You held it up to the light of the fire and saw the curled up body of the creature inside. You look outside and notice that the wind has diminished considerably.
