If I give you philter of trait disruption will the offspring be infertile?

The offspring will not be infertile, Fern. They will only be infertile if you choose the half price gold/diamond amount. :)

Unfortunately I can't afford to get the cute wee little ones, but I will give the naming a shot!
How about:
Sprite and Pixie
(Male then female)
I know they are more fairy-like names, but they give off a mischievious vibe that the Nixi pair seemes to possess. ^-^
