Name Suggestions: Lythicus
Meaning: This is the name of an OC I created a while back. He's one of the four great demons of war, who rise from the corners of the earth to battle in the largest human conflicts (ex: World Wars, Greeks vs. Romans, etc.). *WARNING: Semi-boring backstory* The four demons are brothers - born from Mother Nature and Father Time at the beginning of the world. The brothers were sent to earth, and told that the strongest of them would receive the honour of joining their parents in the heavens. To help prove themselves, each was given a special power to fight, which they were to use to win the wars. With each war waged, the three defeated grew less powerful. On the fourth war, the winner ascended beyond and the remaining stayed trapped on earth forever. *Backstory over* Derrimorr - Demon of Illusion - was able to camouflage warriors to the earth's terrain, Kaythis - Demon of Darkness - was able to grant warriors power in the dark (such as enhanced night vision for attacks), Amerante - Demon of Light - was able to grant firepower (such as advanced cannons, guns, and eventually advanced modern warfare). Lastly, Lythicus - Demon of Life - had the ability to instill superhuman strength in his warriors, rendering the opposing side more powerless. His soldiers could withstand a wider range of attacks (usually impossible for humans) and therefore often earned the title of "Living Dead" [aka Zombies].
Lythicus' coloration includes gray skin, black hair, and glowing orange eyes - accompanied with large, spiraling horns. Although his form (like his brothers) is often human, he presents himself as a lion in battle, which I thought was perfect with the Vulnyx. Since Lythicus is also the Demon of Life - leading Zombie Soldiers - I thought it tied in with the theme pretty well too.
