Dusk let his kill fall not far from Soul's, "Everyone! Make sure to get your fill! It has been decided that we will move south as it is much too cold to stay here! If we stay any longer, we will die!"

Soul randomly jumped from where she currently stood to perch on Dusk's shoulder as she scanned the clearing, fixing each animal in Unity that emerged from the dens with a sharp look. "The climate will get colder and colder. Soon, smaller animals will not be able to survive." Soul gazed at Dusk. "I say, we have a vote." Just then, a cold wind blew through the clearing, stirring the air and making the snowflakes that seemed frozen in place swirl again. "If it gets colder, the air will become liquid, and we'll be not able to survive. We must move, quick!"

"Yeah.. Unity is very full at the moment. Raging fang only has a polar bear and a fennec fox, and here is swiftfoot with a bull, a moose, and a. Arctic fox."

"I don't think though that we could slip into Ragingfang without getting torn to shreds. Unity is a better option but maybe they wouldn't allow us either. Perhaps this is the only place we are welcomed." Sage winced when she stood breathing heavily. "And I don't think I could walk that far, not until I have my calf..."

"How do we know that everywhere is not like this though?" The Lynx asked sitting in front of the kill. "What if no place is safe? What will we do then?" Chara hated moving, she had to pack away everything each time they did. This den she had now was perfect but they would leave it before she got used to calling it home. Sebastian waddled up a half a rabbit in his maw.
"I heard the word move, we leaving?" The wolverine muttered around the kill.

"You'll be fine Sage, It can't be that long though."

Dusk sighed tiredly, "Yes, Sebastian, we're moving."

"Chara, it's getting colder. Isn't it better to take the risk in hopes of finding somewhere warmer than to stay here and slowly -painfully- freeze to death? It may not even be a whole lot warmer, but wouldn't you rather live at least a little bit longer? I don't know about you, but I enjoy living. I enjoy living with all of you, and, quite frankly, I'm tired of watching so many of us die!" Dusk countered, getting frustrated, "We can't be picky about where we live when we're struggling to survive as it is!"

"Listen, guys. The climate is getting colder. Maybe we should meet up with the other two groups and start heading south, and then we can sort it out. Like this, eventually oxygen will turn into a liquid and we'll all die." The arctic wolf looked at the two, the only other two left in the group. Wynde sighed. "Initia's gone. Now there's only us. What do you say? Stay here and freeze, or join up with the others and move south?"

"Listen, Chara. I agree with Dusk." Soul hopped down from Dusk's shoulder and glided to a stop in front of the Lynx. Her mutation caused her to loom over the lynx, dwarfing her. "If you've ever studied how matter changes with the temperature, you'll notice that if it gets colder air will eventually turn to water and maybe even into a solid. According to my calculations, the temperature at the equator should be a couple of degrees over zero. Not a lot, but it beats the -65celcius degrees here." Soul turned away from Chara and looked at Sebastian. "Sebastian, going or no going?" Soul swung around again to look at Dusk. "Motion to have a vote."

"By all means, go right ahead. You already know what my vote is, Soul," Dusk nodded to the large bird.
