Monty followed her instructions and set Luna on the bed and went back to James. "We should wait for the others here." He looked out the window towards the mountains.

Althea set up her tent at a high point. She was surprised at how quickly she had made it up to such a perfect spot.

Fen chuckled and replied with "works for me."

James made a worried face. "They don't really know where we are." He said shaking his head. "I'm sue they'll find us. When will Althea come back?" He asked sitting down.

Sayen frowned at Fen. "What is so funny? I did not say a joke." She said glaring down at him slightly. His happy thing was really starting to bug her.

"Once we leave town. She's got her eyes on us, even if we can't feel her gaze." He responded, still looking out the window.

Fen chuckled again. "Because you're always so grumpy." He grinned at her, though realizing what he just said, he braced for impact.

James nodded a little. "Okay I think we should try and get her to come down anyway. The guards saw all of us and might get suspicious if she's missing for too much longer." He said wondering if Monty would agree.

Sayen tilted her head. "I thought you said I was too serious." She said trying to keep anger out of her voice. He thought it was funny to say that kind of thing.

Monty shook his head. "She's up there for back up. We have to leave as quickly as possible before those hunters realize we were lying and make the connection that there were six changelings..." he said quietly turning his head to Monty, "And six of us. We're just taking precautions. If nothing happens before we get out, then everything will be perfect and we'll meet up as usual." He returned to looking out the window, "things will be easier in the next town, as long as this same thing doesn't happen. I've also been wondering about what that guard said... How did they know to look for exactly six changelings before they saw us? He made it sound as though someone knew we were coming." He shook his head and sighed.

"You just don't get it I guess. You don't always have to have a joyous reason to laugh. Say... When was the last time you laughed, Sayen?" Fen asked curiously.

James swallowed nodding. "I was wondering about that too. It could have just been some invaders... And Rasul did say he had been betrayed maybe the person who betrayed him told them about us." He said shaking his head. "I don't think we'll ever know for sure." He added glancing down the hall. "Did you see how Luna hurt herself so badly? I didn't think it had hurt her so much." He said hoping she'd be alright soon.

Sayen glared at him slightly. "I don't laugh." She said thinking back to the time she did laugh. She shook her head a little bringing herself back to the present. "What do you think I do not 'get'?" She asked a little confused. He seemed to be jumping around a lot.

Monty nodded. "Perhaps we did not see the blood since she is red. That seems to be the most logical explanation. In my opinion, I think she should trust us by telling her if she feels any discomfort. Perhaps if we had known of it a little earlier, we could've bandaged it up a little before getting here." He said blankly. He fumbled around where his daggers lay hidden. He played with their handles a little before returning his hand to his lap, and his other hand on his chin to support his head.

Fen shook his head. "You do not get how to laugh. You do not seem how to learn to understand humor. And you don't know how to wield laughter as your best defense or your greatest weakness." He said mildly. "You should get going to the clothes store. Considering it's so dark out, I hope they're still open." He added, opening the door and winking at her for no reason in particular.

James sighed. "I don't think we could have, I didn't see anywhere we could have landed before that clearing." He said watching Monty's action.

Sayen locked her jaw trying not to say anything rashly. "You said why I do not laugh yourself, it's a sign of weakness." She said her eyebrows gathering together when he winked at her. "Why do you do that? Actually, think of your answer, I will want it later." She said leaving, he had a point.

"I also said your best defe-" He stopped as he saw her rush down the street. He sighed and snickered. "If you can use it right, you can choose between an illusion of weakness or strength..." He whispered to himself. Well, I'd better start 'thinking of an answer', heh heh... Wait a moment, she didn't specify what I did... again... He thought to himself. "Your order is ready, sir!" Said the counter-worker. He turned and carried the soup in one hand while he balance the three sandwiches in his other. He thanked the woman and paid for the food, then setting off to ask the guards where the hospital was.

As he arrived to the place, he entered inside, trying not to drop anything and saw Monty and James waiting in seats at the far side of the room. He inched over there and offered two of the sandwiches to them while they balanced precariously on top of each other.

Monty heard the door to the Hospital open from where he sat in the waiting area across the room. He saw it was Fen with a few carefully stacked sandwiches and a bowl of soup. As Fen offered him one of the sandwiches, he gave a polite smile and thanked him, taking a sandwich and biting into it. It had been at least 27 hours since he had last eaten, remembering last night when he was traveling here. "Where did Sayen go?" He asked, not seeing the un-amused girl anywhere around. "She went to get new clothes for Luna" Fen mumbled through a bite of sandwich. "Once she gets back we should order a few rooms at the nearest inn. In the morning, we can see how Luna is doing. For now, we also need rest. It's been a long day." Monty said casually

James mailed when Fen came in with sandwiches. James took one readily. "Wow, who would have thought that she cared." He said when Fen said that Sayen was getting clothes for Luna. "That sounds like a plan. Thanks for getting the food Fen." He said, speaking first to Monty then to Fen.

The nurse walked out. "You two brought that girl in, correct?" She asked and James nodded because he had sandwich in his mouth. "She is resting now, her legs were very badly torn and had some chunks of wood in them. I stitched her up some and bandaged her but she shouldn't do a lot of traveling for at least a week, maybe more." She said looking at Monty and James. "I also have some paper work that needs to be filled out." She said quietly. James smiled setting his sandwich down. "I'll fill it out, thank you for helping her." He said following her to the counter.

Sayen glared at the store man who was turning the sign right when she arrived. "Let me in. I only need some clothing." She said in a growl. The man look scared. "It costs 10% extra after I close." He said opening the door for her. "Fine." She said looking for the correct size for Luna.
