Sure thing! You probably want a girl then huh? I'll make sure it happens.
By the way, there is a quest that Jinxie will give you called 'capturing a pet' or something like that. When you finish it you will have a two visible pet of the same species and opposite gender of your starter. So don't worry about getting a pet to breed with. Good luck on your adventures on Sylvestia, and have fun!

boy or a girl when it hatches.
