As the fire gaurd aproached in their phenixes Echo's eyes went cold and her body stil. slowly raising her arms, a could of what seemed like most apeared behind her. However, it wasn't mist. Small slivers of ice hovered in the air, awaiting her signal. With a grin she let them lose. A cloud of ice sharks speed at the fiery birds and their riders at incredible speed. As the ice shards neared the birds they parted the flames and hit their marks. Screeches and screams assaulted her ears and she flinched. She had always hated screams. Soon though they stoped, and Crow appeared cradling Ash in his arms.

Crow slowly sat down against the tree. Still holding her. Careful not to drop her. He had a soft spot for hurt people ever since his sister had died. Moving the hair away from her face. Neatly tucking it behind her ear. Not saying a word. Looking up at the sky.

Narida jumped at the screams. Quickly getting down and grabbing Bandit. Looking up at the sky. Running into the cave to check on Graile. Holding Bandit close.

Crimson smiled a bit as he watched the space around him fill with ice. Thinking it was cool before realizing what it was going at. Knowing who the phoenixes were as soon as he saw them. Covering his ears as he heard their pain filled cries. Wanting them to stop. Closing his eyes tightly. He knew the people. They were a part of his squad a while back. Shaking his head as he staying there like that.

Graile padded in, his lips pulled back in a slight snarl. He didn't trust the guard. He spread out on the floor, seeming to be sleeping. He kept his ears up and tail flat. Eventually he fell asleep. (Curse you, comfy floor!)
A cat-creature slipped out of the tree, falling with a yowl. "Yukine!" Yelled Shek, trying to catch it as it fell, but ended up with a face full of dirt.

Demon watched the others as he thought about his past, a growl escaped his lips as the memory of those who turned him into a monster flashed into his mind.

Echo finally opened her eyes and looked at Red "you ok?" She asked noticing his expression. Bitting her lip she wring her hands and looked at her handy work. She hadn't taken down many bird, only one. However she had wounded quite a few. Some only small wounds and some much larger. Or so she thought, she hadn't really seem any of the injuries she created. She only saw the one bird fall and the others fly away, little droplets of blood falling from them like scarlet rain.

Narida smiled as she saw the sleeping wolf. Deciding to let him sleep, she left the cave quietly. Setting Bandit down at the opening of the cave. Only to find a cat like creature face planted on the ground. Frowning she picked it up gently. You poor thing..." she said softly. Stroking it gently. Were you what I was looking for over there? she said softly, motioning to where the creature had once hid.

Crimson opened his eyes when the screaming stopped. Seeing the phoenixes off in the distance. Watching them with sad eyes. Yeah, why wouldn't I be fine..."he said gently. Taking his hands from his ears. Looking at the one who had fallen. Good, it wasn't Charcoal. he thought. Although he did recognize that one. Looking away, he moved back to the spot where they had layed before. Laying down on his back. Staring up at the sky.

The nekomata stared at Narida. It meowed defiantly and leaped out of her arms. "Ah, I'm up here." said Shek, hanging upside-down on a branch. "And yes, Yukine was the one who stuck his tails out." (Shek is a humanoid btw :2)

Narida frowned when the cat like creature jumped away from her. Bandit watching it closely. Narida turned, bumping her nose into the boys. Surprised she backed up quickly only to trip over a rock and land on her butt. Sitting up on her elbows, she gave him an embarrassed smile before looking him over. "Why were you hiding from me?" she asked softly. Biting her lip in thought. Getting up and slowly walking over to him. Trying to get a better look at him. "I wouldn't hurt you, well only if you tried to hurt Bandit of course...I'm Narida by the way. And you are?" she said softly, raising an eyebrow at him. Looking at the tail and then to his cat before looking to the boy's tail again.

"Didja see that wolf?" he said through laughs, "It's huge! No way am I gonna go near that beast! He's obviously from an experiment with magic!" The nekomata leaped into his arms. "I'm Shek, by the way, and this is Yukine." He paused to tease Yukine with his finger.

Narida laughed. "Dire wolves aren't magic silly. Really their just big babies who love to be pet" she teased, poking him in the chest. "I doubt he'd hurt you" she said softly. Smiling when he played with the cat. "Will you at least come down, Shek?" she asked, watching him curiously. Looking to his tail again, wondering what he was.
