@Slaveofrh,
For the zolnixis, you get to choose the genes/mutations, but not the colors.
The amount of GP you can allocate to genes/mutations is noted next to the pet in the advanced search. Note that it does not display on the pet profile page. So if a pet has 12 points to allocate, you can create up to a 6 vis with that pet. You don't have to use all the GP. e.g. This was a 12 point regeneratable pet that I had, but I only used 11 points. This was a regen as well, but here I used all the 12 points it had.
There is a limit of your choices for the genes/mutations though. You can only choose genes/mutations up to what was available when zolnixis became regeneratable. The picture above shows the the regeneration screen that is like the generator screen, as well as the 'lowest letter' (farthest from AA) genes/mutations that can show. i.e. for M1, there is only 1 option for it, which is tritails. Likewise, the for M3, you cannot choose a trait like steampunk since it comes after GG. Let me know if that doesn't make sense. (Probably M1 is the biggest downside for regens, since only one option, but honestly not that bad)
It can be quite fun to regenerate zolnixis, since with some color combinations, some genes/mutations do not work at all -- but you can find that one combination that is gorgeous. :) Of course some zolnixis have great color combinations already, and are easier to work with.
You can search for regens that I have with the above parameters. Any of the ones that are noted as released are fair game. You can look at the ones that have not been released as well...but I am still not sure which ones I'd be okay giving away.
To see what you can create with a zolnixi, just get it's image by dragging to the url bar, then load it into the regular generator. Just remember that some of the genes/mutations shown in the regular generator are not available when you regenerate.

Thanks. ^^
If I were to choose, I would choose this one: https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=1388027
I'm very picky though with my colors, so if you'd rather go with gold and dyes, that's fine.

Sure, I can set that one up for you. I usually like the challenge of unusual colors for regenerating. :p

The only crazy colored ones I have besides my starter.. who I made specifically because the colors worked together somehow, are these two:
I've struggled with wanting to get rid of them, but the zol has 6 traits, 4 of them visible, and the other makes interesting babies. lol

Ahh, I understand the feeling of not wanting to get rid of pets. T-T (always trying to clear out my stables)
Good luck with the last moments of the auction as well! :)
