"I would have guessed, he looks so strong." Honey manages to smile. "Okay, you hide! Im gonna get you, you be careful I am part husky!" Honey smiles, close enough to wolf right? She gets a small sniff in really quick to enhance the fun.

Lily giggles and hides. She runs around, finding a good rock on the natural stairs to hide behind. She was so excited, she could not keep still.

Teasingly, Honey said "I'mmmm gonna getcha!" She tip toes around the cave, "Immmmm gonna getcha!" She peaks behind a few rocks, and on a few ledges, then picks up Lily's scent. "Here I come Lily!" She sniffs around, following the trail

Lily was having lots of trouble keeping still. She wanted to run from the dog but did not.

((^^ll I may have forgotten to do my opening here... Erm but yeah my little canines will start at the island.))
How long had it been since they came to this island? A couple sunrises? Or maybe moons? They had lost track of time a while back, back when they were dumped here. It's not to say they didn't like it here - it was certainly a lot better than that junkyard home of theirs, where food was a lot scarcer and dangers lurked all about. Here, prey was abundant, and if they couldn't catch any, they could easily hike back to the building in the distance, where humans would provide them with nutrients.
As of the current, the pair stalked the river that cut across the island, alert for any sounds that might give away the position of prey. Silverwind had her eyes on the river, pausing every now and then to swipe at the pristine clear water. Sometimes she was successful with her catch, sometimes she wasn't, but it did provide a nice source of food.
Arcticstorm on the other hand, was more interested in land prey, sometimes veering away form his partner - not mate, no, they hadn't gone that far yet. They were friends, nothing more. - in favour of catching a mice or two. By the time their hunting spree was over, a small little pile had built up, enough to last a couple sunrises if they were lucky. Now all the had to do was to transport it back to their den...
Grumble.
Dark eyes darted towards his partner's belly, a chuckle escaping him when their eyes connect. "Hungry? We have more than enough prey for today - shall we eat?" A mere nod was the response, and within seconds the two were lying on the rocky ground, stuffing themselves with their catch. If it ran out, they could always hunt again, so why hold back?

Lily giggles. "I never knew mother, she died when I was a small puppy so we just had each other, all 8 of us!" She giggles and wags her tail.

She gives little Lily a smile. "I am so happy your happy Lily.." She pauses, and lays on the ground to lick her stinging paws. She did not want Lily to see them bleed. She lifts her ears, wondering when Buck would be back. I am so lucky he promised to protect me... I am so lucky I have been provided with a shelter and friend, I must repay them. "Lily, what is Buck's favorite food?"
