The man and woman had followed Terra slowly knowing where she was headed right away. The man laughed when he saw Terra near the door. "Everybody's tried that!" He reached down to pick her up but the woman grabbed his shoulder. "Don't you have paper work to be filing?" She said roughly glaring at the man a bit. He glared back and walked down the hall. The woman knelt down next to Terra. "Are you ready for a tour now?" She asked smiling.

Terra winced back from the human's touch, listening to the strange human-speak, but defeatedly stayed put. Running off again wouldn't probably get her anywhere. That said... Terra sniffed the air. The scent of sylesti was much less strong. It filled the whole building, but farther away from the sylesti rooms, the odor wasn't strong enough to make you practically drown in it. It would be a short but welcome breath of slightly less heavy air. She glanced back at the human who still babbled on to her, wondering what the female was trying to do.

The woman stood up and nodded her head back down the hall. "Come on girl. Let's get you cleaned up with some food." She cooed to her. She felt the Male zolnixi starting to move around a little. She was relieved that he seemed to be waking up on his own. She pulled back the fur on his head and shook her head. He had a pretty mean looking bump. She looked down at the girl. "This guy has a tough head, did you know that?" She asked smiling.

Terra lifted herself from her awkward crouch, and began to look around the room, trying to take in as much of her new surroundings as possible. Next to the invisible barrier, a large wooden slab stood on four legs. A human sat on a smaller wooden slab behind it, hastily scribbling on a thin, white sheet with a smooth black stick. Terra started to slowly walk again, before hearing a whine from behind her. Mako was stirring. Glad to know that he was okay, she could focus more intently on trying to find an escape route. She lowered her nose to the ground, trying to figure out where the most familiar scents of outside came from. Behind her, the female began her obnoxious cooing again, and Terra flattened her ears down on the back of her head and narrowed her eyes, trying to block the distraction out. More cooing. Feeling frustration well up in her chest, Terra spun around and let out a warning growl to the human. The human just continued to coo.

Gah! What is she thinking she's accomplishing by making these noises?!

The woman laughed a little and dug in her pocket with her free hand. She pulled out one of the treats that the Zolnixies seemed to like. She held it out toward the girl. "You hungry?" She asked her putting it down on the ground in front of her. "You are a pretty one aren't you?" She grabbed another treat out of her pocket and started walking down the hall towards the new arrival area of the building. "Come on girl. I know someone who will love to see you." She said smiling.

Terra's glistening brown eyes simply stared at the brown pebble placed in front of her by the human. She leaned forward, gave the pebble a sniff... It smelled kinda good actually. It smelled a little nutty, but there was definitely some animal fat in there... Her stomach grumbled. Instantly, Terra downed the brown pellet.

Wow, that was GOOD.

She followed the lady holding the other brown pellet, instantly craving more. Watching the female very closely now, she could see her arm shaking a bit around Mako, as if he was beginning to get heavy in her tired hand. His tail flicked, and one of his paws shifted a bit. His eyes still remained shut. Sea green walls laced with white doorways closed in around Terra, but she didn't really care. She just wanted that food. She continued trotting after the human, without wondering once where she would end up.

The woman looked back down at Terra to make sure she was following her. She smiled when she saw her. She put another treat down for her. She opened a door into the welcoming center as she liked to call it. It was where they gave the new zolnixies baths and got them ready to be trained not to bite kids that tugged a little hard. The male started to wake up at kicked at her sides. She kept her hold on him but didn't hurt him. "Calm down boy. You're not going to be hurt." She set him down next to Terra and he fell over a little. She got out another treat for him and waited until he seemed better.

Mako opened his eyes to see that he was being carried by a human. He tried to get her to drop him. She set him down and his vision blurred a little and he flopped over. He looked over and saw Terra. "What's going on?" He asked his head pounding. He wished that he could run but he wasn't feeling too good.

At the sound of Mako's voice, Terra shook herself out of her food induced trance. Honestly, Terra had no idea how to reply. The situation that she found herself in was one she'd never before faced. She answered with the little that she knew.

"You blacked out, I tried to run away, I got fed really tasty brown niblets, and now we're here. In whatever this room is..?" The small room looked similar to the previous room that Terra and Mako had been in, save for the block of metal that Mako had been laid on was absent. If the metal hunk had been in the room, Terra didn't know if she's be able to identify one room from another.

Seeing Mako start to struggle, the female sat him onto the floor and began rummaging through a wooden box at the side of the room. Mako and Terra exchanged nervous glances.

Mako stood up shakily. He looked around the room and notice one of those things he'd see the humans put dirty circles in. He didn't like this at all. The female human put a fake brown bone in front of him. He sniffed it tentatively. He licked it a little and decided it was good. He bit into it and quickly ate it.

The woman reached down for Terra. Mako looked over at Terra. "Do you think she's okay?" He asked her.

"Umm..." Terra trailed off, not quite sure. "I think so?" Her voice wavered, unclear as to how to interpret the human's actions. "She keeps making weird little noises at me and gives me food, but she's also holding us here against our wills." Terra pondered her own statement, surprised at how calm she was despite the fact that she was a captive. She glanced back at the human female again. The female was slightly plump, like she'd been able to find enough food to eat and build up a bit of fat in case she got stranded in the cold somewhere. She seemed focused on her task at hand, yet unaware of the room around her save for the wooden box.

"Honestly, she doesn't exactly seem threatening." Terra looked at Mako, a silent signal that it was his turn to share his thoughts.
