First, that's not my username, second, nobody likes a know it all, either, nor a busy-body.

Nobody told her to come in here begging for things instead of working for them and earning them like I did. Started with my starter pet and built everything else myself, except ONE gift one time and that was an essence. I know she says she wasn't, but she specifically asked if she could have it...and that's begging.

I consider begging to be rude, so yes, I ran her off the thread the same way I'm running you off the thread.

I don't like lazy people that would rather have everything given to them, instead of than working for what they want. I realize this is the generation of:

'I Want it NOW'

but I'm from the generation of

'Oh, you want that, huh? Well...you best get started saving for it then, because I'm not getting for you. You'll just have to work for it.'

FYI miss, I DO work for what I get. I work ALL day EVERY day and I'm not just talking about stuff a get on games. Yes I asked if I could have it. I said "Can I have this girl?" And if you said yes I was going to PAY for it. I wasn't asking for a freebie, and I have not been "Ran off the thread." You can't make me do anything, and just letting you know now I am not ranting, but correcting you confusion. I would never ask for a freebie, I may be new but that doesn't make me stupid. As many pets as I work for myself, I have also bought a few. Some were gifted to me for my recent birthday, some were gifted because I'm new. But I didn't ask for them. I do enjoy them, I love them to death, but I didn't ask. That's one of the things that make gifts so special.
I know for a FACT if you had said yes it wouldn't be a gift. I was going to pay you for it. I can understand why you see people should work for what they have. I agree, and people shouldn't beg to get things lazily either. But I am going to defend myself from anyone who calls me "lazy." If you didn't already find this out, I had asked first in a way of being patient. I was figuring you would name a price, because other users and I myself like to know who is buying my pet. And so when I get a shout out, I set it up for them. I figured I would not only be buying a fabulous pet but also helping your thread. I currently have a Lup auction going right now and I've only got one buyer. But I am happy, she is helping my thread by buying one of my babies. If you weren't selling that pet that is fine. All I was wondering was if she was for sale.
Finally, quit picking on my friend. I know it's all a big misunderstanding and no one likes posts like this, but she was only defending me because she cares. And if you didn't notice, she APOLOGIZED. Maybe I wasn't clear when I asked for your pet, but I thought it was for sale, and certainly didn't expect it free. And if I hadn't been put down before, I may have spoke my mind told a little poem like I do for beautiful pets. I never meant for this to happen and I'm sorry you took all this like this but I will take this as a lesson for next time, to be clear with my words. I hope you will forgive me for trying to contribute to your auction.

I thought you were getting no business when I only saw your bumps and thought I might be helping. But I was not trying to harass, I just want you to understand. I'm going to leave this in the hands of a Site Admin, since I'm not positive who the mods are. This little problem started on the last page, I answered her initial post with the reply that if she intended to purchase the pet in in question and it had a price then she could, but if she wanted a freebie then she needed to leave...or I'd report her.

Very simple, but her phrasing when requesting that particular pet indicated she wanted a freebie. 'Can I have' is quite clear. I've got enough children and grandchildren that it tends to be pretty unmistakable. Still, I did address both possibilities.

However, the second person who decided to stick their nose in it is what prompted me to put the EDIT: DO NOT POST thing on my first post.


I am quite simply not having this conversation. At all. I am going to start a new thread and close this one because all of the chatter has already ruined this one. I was minding my own business and I really wish other people would also, but apparently that's too much to ask.

I was popping in every few hours to bump the thread and other than changing the images once in a while I wasn't even here.

Now, I'm going to go do that and leave you to settle this pushy individual with whom I want nothing to do with. I will also be adding the 'DO NOT POST' warning to my new thread because those pets I have for sale are on autobuy and I don't haggle...so there's no need to have a conversation.

I just post images and such, no need for talking. Unless someone does something pushy or obnoxious. I issue ONE warning, then I go find a staff member and let you deal with it.

I just want to say that this seems like a really big misunderstanding. i can understand how Watercolors came off as begging, but remember to try and be polite while talking to other users on the site. This goes for all parties involved. Also, I would recommend once a user asks you to please stop posting in their sales thread...that you respect their wishes and don't bother them anymore. :)

Also, would you like this thread locked Nabiki?
