"I had a dog named Ghost once, the mutt was as dumb as a rock and twice as ugly. He'd drool non stop, too." Daniel flashed a grin at Ghost before making his way towards a door he'd spotted. It didn't look like it lead outside but he couldn't shake off this feeling he had about it.

(Aaaannd what the heck, I'm late again. XP So sorry for the wait guys. I've been again, super busy. I haven't had time to reply to anything and such. I hope this is okay. Tell me if I would need to change anything.

Andrew woke up, still feeling dizzy from his dream. Well, at least he thought it was a dream. It seemed so real to him. The vortex was so hypnotizing and Andrew couldn't get himself to wake up.
Andrew sat up, pain rushing to his head. He placed his right hand on his head and gritted his teeth. He looked around. He suspected he'd be at home, smelling the normal everyday breakfast, or maybe he'd be going down the stairs to find mom and dad were about to save the day. But no, this was definitely not his house. This place was more ruined. It looked like a ruin.
But Andrew couldn't help but feel like he knew this place. But he had never seen this place in his whole life. Had he? Maybe when he was little...
He looked around, trying to figure out what to do. Everything seemed to be out of place. There were paintings and pictures lying on the ground, like someone had pushed them off the wall. Some chairs looked like they had fallen over, and a nearby window was open slightly, the cold wind rushing inside.
Andrew's radiant blue eyes darted from one place to another. "Was someone here...?" he thought, hoping he was wrong. Maybe there was just a strong storm which had destroyed the place. But he couldn't prove that to himself without any evidence.
"Maybe I should start walking. Maybe there is a way out of here." he thought again, starting to walk to a door. Maybe it would lead him outside.
He waited a few seconds, and thought he should brace himself just in case. He put his left hand onto the handle of his whip, which was on his belt. With hesitation, his took the knob in his right hand and slowly turned the knob, his grip on the handle tightening. But when he fully opened the door, he found that a few people were there.
"....Oh dang."

Daniel jumped back when the door in front of him swung open. "Wah! Woah... Hi, guy." He managed to stammer a small greeting in his surprise.

(Sorry, I'm a bit brain blocked right now >.<)

Kestrel turned her gaze from the girl who had climbed up to join her to the boy in the now open door. She tensed, but made no move to attack.

Lark stared down at the boy, more curious than nervous. After all, all the others hadn't been a threat, Despite that, she was still a bit wary, and watched him for any sudden movements.

Martha shook her head. This group was getting a little big for her liking. She could hardly stand working with a few of the JLA members but a ton of strangers? She stepped back a bit from all of them hoping they hadn't noticed.

Ghost thought everyone was being a bit too quiet for her liking. She sighed. "Hiya! I'm Ghost this is Blue and I'm not sure about the rest. Welcome to the party!" She said walking over to him to shake his hand. She took her hand back a bit. "Unless you're the bum who got us all stuck here..." She said raising her eyebrow.

Andrew ran a hand threw his reddish hair nervously. There were about five people there in front of him. Yep, this definitely wasn't an exit.
He smiled, looking a little anxious. He wasn't used to talking to strangers. Maybe these guys were the ones who made this place look a little... off.
He heard a few greetings and saw some 'back off' looks. He gulped down his saliva.
Andrew looked at the first boy who spoke, who had short black hair and blue eyes. Andrew waved but he didn't look so happy to see him.
"Uh... hi...?" he said, his greeting sounding like more of a question.
He turned to the girl with brown hair, some hair almost tinted with red. She had green eyes which greeted him happily.
"Um... hi, Ghost... and um... Blue." he stammered. He was going to take her hand to shake, but he hesitated to do so when he heard her ask a question.
"No... I'm not." he said, raising an eyebrow. He saw some other people in the back who were giving him suspicious looks. "I am not a threat." he said, hoping that'd fix their moods about him.
"So you guys were, like, teleported here too?" he asked, looking at all of them. "Um, do you know where we are...?"
He wanted to ask more questions, but he felt that he shouldn't because they'd probably not know either.
He hesitated to speak again, but he figured it would be rude to not say his name. "Uh..." he started, trying to figure out which name he'd use. His hero name, or his real one? Maybe his real one would do.
"I'm Andrew..."

(Ummmm. I was kinda waiting for a bit to have everyone know each other's last name.... Ya know cause they all have the same one XD)

(Oh lol. XD Sorry, edited it. I didn't realize. Whoops.)

"None of us know anything," said Kestrel. She was annoyed at the lack of information they all had. These total strangers were the only people she could turn to for help, and she hated trusting others with her life. Especially strangers who were in the same predicament as her. She flew back down, sighing at the number of times she had flown back and forth.

Lark stayed on the top floor, not wanting to make a fool of herself trying to come down, and she felt safer up there. What are we going to do? I'm sure there's an explanation for all this.... I just need to find it. If we all have no idea, then I'll have to figure it out. She stood up and turned to look down the hallway. Should I stay here, or go try to figure this all out?

"Well we were going by our hero names but since you gave us your real one..." Daniel stepped forward to shake the newcomer's hand. "I'm Daniel or Dark Whisper. Use whichever you want, I don't think it matters here."
