Aqua shakes her head. "Where I'm from, the things we do is basically protect territory, protect the colony, and hunt. " Aqua says, following.

"Where are you from? Anyway, it's basically a place where people trade their extra provisions for things they need. I hate them. Too many people. Anzai didn't give us much of a choice though." She saw the marketplace carts to the left of the square. She dove down and snapped her wings open causing people to skitter out from underneath her. She strode to the first stall. It was selling dried meats. She purchased some meat and fruit before walking to a stall selling cloaks and blankets. "Want one?" she Aqua.

"Sure. " Aqua said, looking at a light blue cloak.

Senja saw her eyeing the light blue one. "You want that one?" she asked, pointing to the light blue one.

"Yes please. " Aqua says.

"May I have that one and that one?" asked Senja, pointing to the light cloak and a dark blue one. "Sure sweety! That will be 50 coins," Senja couldn't see the shop keeper because she was covered in fancy clothes and veils. Senja thought that was a reasonable price so she gave her the money. "Come around back to take your things." By now, Senja was rather suspicious, but she needed the cloaks. "Your friend can stay there. Senja walked into the shop. The lady turned and grabbed Senja by her shirt collar. "Now, where is your money?" Senja kicked out at her, trying to land a kick in the woman's stomach, but someone grabbed her legs. No one could see into the back of the shop, because of a curtain. Senja turned her hand toward the lady's wrist and let a stream of fire scorch them. Screeching in pain, she dropped Senja's wrist. The man behind her tried to grab her but she had created a shadow sword and drove it into his leg. Two more men appeared from the shadows.

Aqua heard the scream and ran in. She saw the battle. She put her palms out, two ice serpents slunk over and attacked the men.

Senja had plenty of shadows to work with. She turned them into shapeless monsters with a wave of her hand. They joined the ice serpents. "Those thugs didn't stand a chance," she said, kicking the man that fell to the floor. The shadowbeasts melted back into the shadows as Senja grabbed the cloaks and her money, tossing the light blue one to Aqua.

"Are all the stalls like this?" Aqua asks, putting on the cloak.

"Some others. Not usually. This is just one of the reasons why I hate these places." She threw her cloak over her shoulder. "Come on, let's head to the next stall." said Senja.
