Sastrugi pauses, claws careful as she listens to the two's response. Their joy sends the sensation of something pleasant humming in her chest, a carefully contained mirror to the laughter that bubbles out of Hakaishin.
With acceptance fresh on her mind, the IceWing lets her the corners of her lips part in a grin; too many teeth to be polite, too few to be a challenge. Instead, it's a glimpse of something untamed, her previous persona settling into sharpness.
"Is that something you've been looking forward to?" Sastrugi asks, her tone lilting even as she sinks into a low timbre.
"Because I'm not one for charity, but I suppose I can make an exception for you."

Tiamat laughed. *seriously though, comparing you from when you found us to now is like day and night. Your so. . . Different, in a good way. Why? Is it because of pressures of royalty?*
Hakaishin added, *and we just want to help, by the way. You dont need to feel obligated to answer.*

(I mixed up this OOC with FL/GHT's and was confused when I didn't see this conversation haha)
Dark eyes turn toward the table, leaving Sastrugi to meet her gaze in its polished reflection. In her face, she reads easy enjoyment and curved lips. A tip of the head, and the angle changes to reflect a vision of serene nobility and burning ambition.
"Mm," she agrees, choosing to leave her response vague. "That would be it." Her persona is one shaped by status, though it's not due to pressure from the crown but from her desire for it.
As such, she appreciates the offer, but-
"I wouldn't worry too much about helping me," Sastrugi says. "I have things under control. You should focus on winning tonight's games instead."

The two smile at her before she mentioned not needing help. In response, Tiamat pours for a bit before shaking his head and smirking.
Hakaishin looked over, recognized the look, and turned to Sastrugi. *whelp. Hes gonna focus on helping you now. You really should have accepted. The dudes stubborn.*
(Hey, I had an idea.
What do you think about Hakaishin being an Animus? Because I love the idea of my little scavenger boi being a wizard.)

(Ooh, that sounds great! Having Hakaishin being able to use magic is awesome. I'm excited to see how he uses it, especially since he's already made some really cool inventions.)
"Well, you are welcome to," Sastrugi says, shoulder rising in a slight shrug. "I'm not going to refuse your generosity." She pauses, evaluating, before her lips part in an amused smile.
"If you truly do want to help, then try your best tonight. If you establish a reputation for yourselves, it'll be easier for me to rely on you later on." An easy enough challenge, she knows, yet having seen what she has, she can't help but look forward to watching them complete it.

Sastrugi's lips curl, another one of those sharp little things that leaves light glittering off of her scales, teeth, spikes. No, she never doubted whether or not they could. Now, she doesn't whether the would or not either.
"I could instruct you," she says, voice laden with a teasing undercurrent, "but that would take the fun out of things. I'm sure you won't need it either."
Meal finished, she stands, gathering her wings and tail as she straightens. "I'll see you later tonight."

"I'm glad to have the both of you too," Sastrugi says, voice soft. The moment is unexpectedly touching, in a way that she is far from prepared for. It makes something warm flickers in her chest. It mellows her eyes and posture, leaving nothing but innocent smile on her lips--a small, hazy thing. She clasps the other's hand in her own and gives a small shake as she adds, "I'll see you later then. I'll join some of the events with you two and cheer you on for the ones I'm not in."
A final nod, and the IceWing steps out, turning away from the ambassador quarters to head for her own rooms. It wouldn't do to strain herself training a few hours before the celebration when there's people counting on her, after all.

The snow continues to fall several hours later, as fast and as hard as before. It wouldn't be the Kingdom of Ice if the storms didn't last for days.
With the weather in mind, Sastrugi arrives at the Hakaishin and Tiamat's room with her smallest furs in hand, one from an Arctic fox and the other from a wolverine. She stands outside the curtain and calls. "Are you ready?"

The duo were inside the room, smiling and waiting to go. When they heard Sastrugis voice, Tiamat grinned and opened the door. *you bet! Weve been ready!*
Haikaishin rolled his eyes. *hes way too excited.*
*shut up!* Tiamat said playfully at his best freind.
