I have added something like 15 or 16 projects to my Zolnixi lineup. Eight of these are thanks to the lovely individuals who sold me their Diamond Progressive Bonus pets - those custom 3v Themed are going to make many lovely babies and I am super excited that everything has fallen together as it has.
I have enough Diamonds that I am comfortable buying two more of the mentioned custom pets, so I will likely be adding or at least improving the speed of two more projects. Afterwards, I am probably going to put most of my spending on pause until the summer festival so I can take advantage of the Diamond Sale at the beginning.
I have also split up the Zolnixi Themed pets into three posts, as I have 29 Themed Zolnixi projects and I can not squeeze almost 60 images into one post.
Of these 29 projects, I picked up a few old Majestics, as there were complete or almost complete pets selling for reasonable prices in the Advanced Search. I figured I would scoop these up and at least breed myself complete trait breeding pairs. I like the Cute Witch and Dragon Wisp sets quite a lot, so I'll probably max at least one of each set so I can make whatever recolors I'd like. I am also thinking, if I do max them, I might trade breeding pairs for breeding pairs of other restricted sets I don't have. Maybe. It all depends on how patient I am feeling when we get there.

- Added a Tropical Sunset Nephini project. I... don't really like Nephinis. They're too thin, too cluttered, and, in my opinion, in need of a revamp to properly match the style and quality of the other revamped pets. However, I very much like this Themed and they're selling really cheap for a Fabled, so I grabbed a bunch and am going to try to get the traits I want.
- The Whispering Shadows Zolnixi are getting really close to producing 6vs. All but two of my pairs are 3v or better and one of the pairs is even 5v to 5v, so I am hoping to get at least one 6v very soon. <3
- I added a bunch of projects that I had started to collect traits for, but was not successful in obtaining before Behemoth had her... incident. They may sit static for a while, but I do intend to get to them when I can.

So... I've been thinking about future sales and how I am going to manage that. Mostly, I had a big debate with myself over fertile Themed offspring and restricted trait Themeds. I think I have figured out how I want to handle the sales.
- Themed offspring will all come from the same parents so they can not be bred back to their project. This seems like a basic security measure I almost forgot about. I had initially planned to have two pairs to speed up production if necessary, but I forgot that, unlike Ovipets, Sylestia allows cousins to be bred together.
- Restricted trait Themed will NOT be sold below max stats if they come from a Majestic Mold/Catalyst/Essence/Seed that has received stat bonuses for the G1s. It just feels weird to make and sell max stats from them, but also sell pets that have roughly 70-80% of the stats. The point of having the restricted trait Themed is also more for me to do recolors of that trait set and I won't dye non-maxes, since dyes are expensive, so there's not really a point in me selling slightly below max pets that are exact copies of ones they can get from other people.
- I want to be able to trade fertile max stat pairs of restricted Themed for others I do not have, should there be anyone interested. If not, oh well, but I like the idea. I may even sell pairs to individuals who, like myself, would like to have them for recolor purposes, but perhaps don't want to put in the work of breeding and Prisma-ing a Themed that has zero variation just for that. In this instance, I will need to make specific criteria for a person to meet, as I have seen some alarming things said by individuals who have not made max stats of their own that make me unwilling to sell to them.
- I am probably not going to be selling non-maxes of my MFMS projects 'cause I just don't think it's worth it. They are 3v, so they're not likely to sell as well as anything else I am working on, so I don't want to keep pairs around when they're just gonna take up space.
In other news, am considering working on setting up some non-Themed projects for me to eventually set up for. Themed are fun and all, but I also have my own color tastes and feel like only doing Themed projects (which I am practically doing, even if unintentionally) is a smidge lazy on my part, since the color palettes are not my work. It feels odd to even call them my projects, since I did not make the Themes themselves, only picked out and bred in traits. I do enjoy making them and I am not going to stop with the Themed projects - I just want to try and balance it out a little.
Also... While I do love Themed and think they are beautiful, they're not always super practical for cross-breeding. Making pets that are designed only to look pretty is one thing if they are max stats - it's another if they're fertile base stats and make muddy offspring. (I have a soft spot for brown/earthy/neutral Themed, which basically make dirt babies if cross-bred. Oops.) I would like to see if maybe I can contribute to breeding prettier mutt pets. I know I won't be able to do much, since it's super expensive to dye pets and I am only one, singular person, so I only have so much time, space, and money... But a little difference is still a difference.
Mm. Falling off the face of the planet again? Yes. But I sorted all of my projects again and should be getting back into the swing of things now that I've pruned my stock and clipped out a bunch of unwanted traits. Things are a lot easier when you remove one way RNGesus can be a butt.

Alrighty. I think I am back mostly on a roll. I spent the last... three or four days going through all my projects and this thread and making some changes.
- Added a Concept Added date to each project. Due to not having tracked the dates most of them were put on the thread, the dates are from a mix of places. Many have the date from when I saved the concept in the Generator, so there are dates that predate the creation of this thread. Others have festival and event start dates and a few have dates I first mentioned them here. Now that I have this section, future projects will have the date they are added to the thread.
- Deleted all my Generator saves. This cleared out some gunk that I wasn't going to bother with making and forced me to move some projects I had been hiding in there onto this thread. This fresh start will make it easier on me, as the clutter was beginning to bother me.
- Condensed all my projects. I had originally given each project two tabs in their stables, as I figured more than 25 pairs would be too many for a project to progress. If I just keep making new pairs, I often breed pets that no longer progress the project - if I have six trait pairs, I should not still be breeding my 3c to 3c pairs to try and make more. I noticed that my projects very rarely exceed twelve pairs before I can go back through and begin replacing pets, so there was a lot of wasted space. I have now allotted one tab to each project, as that is enough to hold twelve pairs - though I do intend to stick to ten pairs, as it otherwise feels weird and cluttered. Not to mention, I have enough active projects that cutting off those last two pairs can really make a difference.
- Updated all the links. Since I had to move all my stables around and whatnot, I had to redo the links to each project's tab. Bleh.
- Marked all projects that can not immediately progress as in Stasis. As much as I would love to throw a bunch of resources into them to jumpstart them, my lack of presence here has led to me having fewer resources to throw around. I think the goal for now is going to be to reduce the amount of active projects I have by breeding out those 6vs on the projects that are beginning to get close. A decent percentage of my currently in-progress projects are at the 5c and better stage, so they are not super far from being completed. This includes all four of my generated Lupora projects, my one generated Nytekrie project, and my normal breeding project with the Nimbus Sylvorpa. If all six of these could hurry up and be done, that would remove all my current non-Themed projects from production.

Oh boy. So, I was supposed to behave this fest and just sell all the resources I got. The goal was to save and prep for the summer, since that is usually my favorite festival to participate in. (I love the beach feature and it makes sculpting fun.) The Spring Blossom pets entirely derailed me, however, and I've got a load of projects I need to add to the thread now.
Spring Blossom Ny'vene
These are actually ready to go - they just need to finish growing. I have added traits onto them already and everything. The only potential hiccup is the one female has a hidden, but that's okay - I love her and she is staying. She even got an actual name and will not be released with the others when her part in the project is over. Aera Wildbloom will be going into a stable with my Diamond Progressive Bonus pets and other 'trophy' Themeds. :3
Spring Blossom Lupora
I'm so excited for these I bought and used Magical Pies. I don't like using pies, as I usually see them as a waste of Diamonds, but this was a situation I felt I could justify it in. This project will be ready to start breeding in three days, at which point I will be beginning my next round of project breeding. I might even make a second project with these, as I caught this boy and he has wonderful potential. Even if I don't breed him, he will most likely be staying with me as a trophy.
Spring Blossom Ryori
I just need one more pet and I'll be able to start in on these. I can't believe I picked up two Fableds in one fest after being so against working with them at all due to their high price tag. I really wanted to get a batch of projects and maxes done before I dove into Fableds, but in both instances I caught important pets myself, so the lower out of pocket made these possible.
Fabulous Fern Lupora
Two versions for this one. I believe I have collected all the traits for the dragon version and I have all the pets for the expensive version. I just need to wait until my next Diamond purchase to move the Grove trait onto them and get a disruptor for the other. Plus three GGMs. Bleh. These are again Sycake's fault. I hadn't made a decision on traits yet, but he caught a female with two of the traits I had been most seriously considering and everything went downhill from there. :P She has been donated to the cause and shall make many a beautiful floofling.
Garden Sentinel Morkko
I saw this baby in a sales tab and I could not resist. Such wonderful colors could not go to waste! They originally had different armor in their M2, but there was a Blazing Fireworks that had the Grove trait up for 20k and it just looked better. So I took it. This one will need a Diamond Progressive Bonus pet to continue, but I am going to breed some eggs before then, as said pet will need a mate and having a few extra 4cs will help the project move along.
Marigold Morkko
These are also almost ready to go. I just need a bunch of swappers because every good bear I found was female. I have six of them. All female. I support lesbians, of course, but they are not conducive to making a project! So, unfortunately, they can not all stay that way. XD (Although, it would be cool if we had an item to make a pet visually one gender and functionally the other, similar to the Flight Rising Silhouette Scroll. Then I could have visual lesbians, but functional breeding pairs. :P I would also be able to turn all my male 'nixis that I needed for breeding purposes, but kept as trophies into ladies, as I like the female pose better. Just a thought.)
Citrus Spray Kelpari
I have four of the six traits across four different pets, so these will be ready to go as soon as I get more Diamonds, since I can just pop some GGMs on them. I might wait and see if I can get the other two traits on other pets, but meh. It's not necessary and the fewer I have to use to start, the better, as the more for other people to use for their projects. The male with the Nightmare Spikes also has Ornate Armor hidden under them, so these may come out with the armor - it looks good too, so we'll see who wins. :P
Pastel Spring Vulnyx
Impulse design. I currently only have one workable female, but she has two of the traits I want, so that's not bad. I just need two more pets and some GGMs to make it work. I couldn't resist working with them - I was tempted by the colors, then bought the girl with the Jeweled Wings and King Cheetah, which are wonderful traits. So I had to! This was a rare instance where I designed around a pet I found rather than found a pet for a design I had.
Petal Power Kelpari
I have three traits for this one, but they're all carries on pets that have unwanted carries as well. They might not get started right away because I hate grinding for Nulls, so we'll see. Watermelon vibes are good, so I may be feeling it more later.
Squawking Blue Jay Nytekrie
This one is looking like it might just be shelved until next year. I have one trait for it and there are no others available for purchase or breed with traits I need. We'll see, though, since we still have a good bit of fest left to go. Went for spirit-y Druid vibes. I also have in the plans to make a set using the Spring Blossoms instead of Stardust. If it comes down to it, I might only do the Spring Blossoms version in order to get that extra slot coverage without having to add an extra pet, as I do have a female with a visible trait I can sacrifice.
Dark Floral Aurleon
The cause of most of my woes this fest, since they were the ones that tempted me into considering adding a few more projects. There's always one, isn't there? I have the pets for this one, but they are a little expensive to kickstart with the need for the Spring Blossoms, so they must wait for my next Diamond purchase.

I am going to be sorting through all my projects in stasis and making a list of the items they need in order to be kickstarted. This will give me a set of goals and some clue as to how much I need to spend in order to get everything running.
I must admit, I am really worried for some of them. Krin made a concerning statement here that puts some of my plans in danger. I have been using the Diamond Progressive Bonus Pets as ways to kickstart projects, but this requires that I also have access to pets available for breed on the AS. Usually, I'll ask for the bonus pet with three traits that either are not available or are only available on less than stellar studs (lots of unwanted carrieds and hiddens). This allows me to work with almost any Theme, regardless of how old it is. The removal of the hundreds if not thousands of pets up for breed from dead accounts could make it impossible to do projects with older Themed pets without using three bonus pets. Even 2019 pets are getting pretty old! Some of them could be in just as much danger as pets from 2014!
As one bonus pet costs 1200-2000 Diamonds when I buy off another user, that means I would be going from spending $12-20 per project to spending $36-60 per project, which I'm... not really willing to do, considering all the money I already spend on Prismatic Philters, Magical Pies, and Philters of Gender Swapping. Each of those items is roughly $1 each and they add up fast.
I don't grind gold to buy off the exchange - all my Diamonds have been freshly purchased. This is the one game I really splurge on. I don't want to have to change that, but I might have to if the part of it I enjoy has a large portion of it cut off or made 3x as expensive as it was before.
