Knuckles awoke with a start. That was too sudden to be wind... but now that he thought about it, he could pick up the scent of somebody below him. He growled down at the person who had so rudely woken him up before sunrise. Jerk. He reluctantly rolled over and made eye contact with the person, a cougar. "What do you want?" He snapped.

"Out of my tree trespasser," Nix growled.
"Calm down the both of you," Luna tried to calm them down.
Nix ruffly pushed her aside. Luna motioned to cover their ears and started singing. Nix was out cold.

"Well, how was I supposed to-- Oh, oh, okay, just gonna faint while I'm still talking. Okay. Totally cool with that." The echidna muttered, about ten seconds away from dozing off again.

Nix growled in his sleep and about bit Luna.
Luna stepped back and kept singing.

Rookie frowned at the display, but yawned again. "Luna.... They're both asleep a'gin..." He groggily pointed out.

"Sorry but Nix tried to attack Knuckles so what was I suppose to do?" Luna yawned herself.

"Commander? Oh.... He's a fighter. He'd be fine." Rookie pointed out.

"So is Nix," Another thief ,this time a coyote, stepped out of the shadows, "It is nearly time for us to sleep so Nix is probally getting grouchy."
Luna just looked at him, "How did you do that?"
"I'll never tell."

Rookie sighed and glacned at the dozing Mobians. "Should we wake 'em up...?"

"Nix no unless you want claws to the face and chances are a swift kick to the midsection. The other I don't know." The coyote said.
"Your choice on if we wake Knuckles up." Luna told Rookie.
