She grabbed her things and went into the bathroom. Electa took what had to have been the fastest shower in history, and a few minutes later she was out again, dressed in jeans and a gray T-shirt, her hair damp. She moved around the room, throwing clothes into her bag. Finally, she took her pistol from the dresser and tucked it into her holster; it was possible to catch a glimpse of her stomach.

Vex was shocked at how quickly Electa had taken that shower, and honestly he thought it may have been faster than his mother did them. He had sat on the bed but now stood. He thought he should probably change as well, though he wasn't one to take a shower practically every night. He didn't gain unwelcomed scent easily, despite doing soccer. Often that caused him to just smell like sweet, fresh grass. xD His teal eyes watched her a bit as he got his pull-string bag and he felt the faintest hint of heat on his cheeks at just the faintest glimpse of her stomach, he averted his eyes right away though. 'That is stupid. Yes, very stupid, Vex. Bad Vex, very bad. No bad thoughts.' He thought to himself.

"I'll go get us some breakfast," she said. She smiled slightly. "And before you say anything about not being hungry, I'm not, either. But if he sees me coming in with breakfast for both of us, he'll think we're staying in here for a while." She looked at the window again. "Get dressed while Im gone, okay? But make sure you're not seen."

He didn't fully trust her, but tried to trust her words. He walked after her but stopped and locked the door knob once the door closed.
