"Just a storm?" She asked skeptically. "Maybe to you it's just a storm, but...It's a threat to me," she said flatly, making sure he knew she didn't want to talk about it

" It's alright.. I get it. It is scary.. but it won't hurt you. Not while I am here. " He said back to her, promising her silently that even if he didn't like her much, he would protect her.

She didn't have anything to say at that. She wasn't used to anyone saying that, not even her now dead parents. Or siblings

Alister yawned softly and slowly let her go, " I kind of need to go to sleep.. will you be okay for the night? "

Again, she doesn't respond. She just clings to him, hating the fact that (a) she felt safe in his arms and (b) she kind of wanted him to hold her more. Of course, she would never admit that. Not in this vulnerable stage she was in, anyway

Alister chuckled, taking that as a 'no' and he held her again, his embrace gentle yet firm. " Don't worry, I don't mind all too much. Just don't kill me in my sleep. " He teased.

"Why would I kill you? You're being useful. Kind of. If you weren't here I would be hiding out in the bathroom." She was much too tired to be mean.

" It's cold in there.. you wouldn't want to hide in there. " Alister said as he gently ran his fingers through Electra's hair, his eyelids becoming heavy.

"I'm used to the cold. Especially from people," she added softy, glad to be near Alister. His strong arms around her made her feel safe...the way he was runnin his fingers through her hair... She fell asleep, almost happy.

Alister fell asleep after her, his arm ended up laid lazily around her waist, the other at his side. His breathing was slowed now and he seemed to relax.
