She taps his head, absorbing the water back into herself.

He paws at her leg, frowning when his paw goes through. He didn't know she was made of water, he growls and stands, shaking his paw in frustration.

She's quite cold at the moment, anyways. Not cold enough she's going to start freezing, but cold.

He then shifts, noticing how she shivers slightly. "Shift into your squirrel." He shifts back and waves his paw at her to continue.

She turns back into a squirrel. The higher density warms her a bit (because logic is boring).

He nudges her to him, his large form curling around her tiny form. He rips off one of the bird's wings and gives the rest to her. Knowing in that form she won't eat it but she can wait until she's warm enough.

She cuddles up against him.

He slowly nibbles on the bird's wing, eating around the bone.

Mizu falls asleep.

He slowly uncurls himself from her small form, setting her next to the vixens gently. He goes hunting for the others, quickly rushing away so he can return in order to explain where he went.
