Flare moved suddenly, hissing. Pyro jumped in surprise, and smiled.

"For fire types," Nettle observed. "You two appear rather... flighty..." He extended a wing in greeting. "You may call me Nettle,"

Pyro smiled. *its Pyro, if you dont remember. Thats my grumpy dad, Flare.* Flare nodded, and said, *Pikipik, is that all your getting, or are you getting this Sandslash and Wave too?*

Nettle grinned. "You have certianly grown quite a bit, Pyro." He chuckled.

Flit shook her head. "I said they were busy,"

Netle turned to look at Flare. "So, what is it you needed me for?"

Flare cleared his throat. *ok, everybody, crowd around. Tis has to do with Pyros evolution.

So basically, besides Cosmog and maybe Cosmeon, Pyros the first Pokemon to evolve with the Evolution Shrine. And that got me thinking. Why? So I did reaserch, and realized that - just maybe - the Evolution Shrine is a living being, and noticed that Pyro was in mortal danger, and allowed him to evolve to save his life. I propose an expedition to the Evolution Shrine, to figure out what happened with Pyro, and maybe to evolve Flit, if he wishes.*

(You keep saying 'Shrine'. Its actually 'Spring'.)

Nettle let out a soft noise. "Mm... When I went to evolve there (This happened twice, mind you), I heard a voice speaking, but I couldn't tell you from where. In fact, most evolved pokemon have reported it. Surely you've had a similar experiance?" He asked Flare.

(Shrine sounds cooler)

Flare nodded. *its was creepy, but sorta soothing. Thunder?* Thunder nodded as well. *yeah, I went to become Pikachu and then Riachu. Not sure why I became Alolan form, cuz thats rare. Pyro?*

Pyro hesitates, then shook his head. *no, I evolved on my own. After falling off a cliff a couple dozen miles south of here, I hit a couple branches and eventually landed in a bush. I passed out, then woke up with a Haxorous about to attack me. I panicked, then light came from me and the Haxourous ran. I then passed out, and woke up as a Charmeleon. And if kept that secret from everybody. Until now.*

Flare was shocker, but controlled it a minute later. *looks like, son, you evolve in life threatening circumstances. We definitely need to see the Spring.*

Nettle nodded. "Flit can not join us, though. The journey to the spring is a trip one should make themselves."

Filt nodded in agreement. "You guys go ahead. Maybe someday,"

Thunder nodded. *if your sure.*

Flare asked, *Nettle, its been so long I forgot. Where is the way to the spring?*
