Knuckles sprang to the side, swearing in Echidnean. He struck out with a flurry of blows, followed swiftly by a powerful uppercut.

Due to years of training she withstood the blows and sliced at Knuckles with her scythe again deflecting the punch and Ruby stepped on Ajal's tail.
Ajal stirred then fully woke up and attacked Ruby, bitting her hard on the leg.
Ruby kicked Ajal but he didn't let go.
Ruby hit Ajal with her scythe he hit the wall hard.

Knuckles clutched at his new wound for a second, then tried again while she was still distracted, putting most of his strenght behind his fist.

The punch was blocked by Ruby's scythe which broke under impack. Ruby staggered back and launched herself at Knuckles again.
Ajal tried to get back up on his feet but couldn't. He took out his knife and threw it at Ruby pinning her to the wall. The chip started to go into her hand.

Knuckles snarled and siezed the opportunity, sending a sharp blow to the jaw.

That knocked Ruby out.
Ajal slipped back into unconciousness.

Knuckles nodded once, then ran off to find Amara, clutching his wound.

Amara was on her lunch break, "Not you again!" She jumped up and stumbled backward, "I will use the Stink on you if you are threating me." She warned.

Knuckles shook his head. "No threats. Sorry to say this, but Ajal's injured again, I brought in a burned cyote, and your sister tried to kill me so I had to knock her out."

"Ruby is my cousin and second off how?" Amara asked amazed, "Not important right now."
She rushed in and saw the shattered scythe, "When she wakes up you better run fast and I mean faster then Sonic if she finds out you did this to her favorite scythe." Amara started treating them and made sure not to touch the thing in Ruby's hand.
Ruby started to come to and rubbed her jaw, "What hit me?"
