He doesn't let go.

She whimpers in her sleep, thrashing around desperately. Suddenly her wings unfold, causing her to wake up panting and look around, her eyes filled with fear and pain.

"It's okay.." he whispers gently to her. "You're safe."

She slowly sits back down next to him, still trying to catch her breath as she rubs her neck. She shakes her head, looking away from Tirou in embarrassment. "Sorry... I probably won't be able to sleep for a while..." She sighs, looking at the floor, wincing at the memory of her nightmare.

"It's okay." He replies quietly.

She looks over at him, "Did he threaten you again?" She suddenly asks.

"No." He replies softly.

She visibly relaxes, standing shakily to go to the restroom to see her neck.

He remains by the couch, though he can still see her.

As she looks in the mirror she tenses, not recognizing her reflection. Her hand hovers over her neck, surprised that her head is still on. She hisses as she puts pressure on it, walking back to Tirou and sitting beside him, not meeting his gaze.
