"Fine why do you ask?" Douglas took the blanket and put it on his bed.

"Kai noticed you kept rubbing at your eyes last night. I just want to make sure it wasn't anything serious..." Kaladin said.

"_{Dumb dog}." Douglas growled under his breath, "I guess there is no point in lying to you, my eyesight has been deteriorating for years and it got worse last night. Most times I can see spots last nigth I had a full blackout."

Kaladin frowned. "I suppose there isn't much one can do about that...." He sighed.

"That's why I'm trying to teach you, for the day I can no longer do my job I will be able to rest easy knowing someone who I trust is taking over my pratice even though they are not on the island I lived on." Douglas spoke.

Kal nodded slowly.

"Now let's get back to the lessons shall we," Douglas took out a small jar that had seeds in it, "I want you to tell me what type of seeds these are and see if you can get one to grow for you."

"....I think it's purple coneflower." He said after a moment.

Douglas nods, "Good now try to plant one and get it to grow." Douglas hands him a small pot.

"Evermore would you like to help me go check on Eva," Morgan asks.
