"Foolish child...." Zero snarled, taking out the Phantom Ruby. All he had to do now was think. So he did.
He looked up, and a shadowy form in the shape of a huge avian appeared between him and Luna. The edges of the form flickered red.
A sucessful illusion.

Luna pulled out fake phantom ruby that she had stolen from Clay.
Clay felt for his and ran, not finding it.

Zero looked confused for a moment, but the expression was exchanged for a sly grin. "Ammeture. Try me." He challenged, tail swishing. The shadowy hawk advanced, massive wingspan extended.
