Jack wrapped them in his warm, strong arms and picked them up. "Let's rest." He said, going to a tree and some soft grass.

"Ok." Ray says, holding onto Jack.

He goes and sits in the grass with his back to the tree, gently resting Ray in his lap and putting his own stuff to the side in the grass.

Ray turns and hugs Jack.

Jack hugs him back, embrace warm.

Ray sighs and places their head on Jack's shoulder. "... I'm hungry. Can I eat you?" They ask. They are comfortable, the only thing wrong was that they were hungry, which wasn't really a problem, not yet. Another thing that you can take into account is that they're tired. They wouldn't actually eat Jack, there was no way they would do that.

Jack blushed just a little. "N-no." He rested his head on rays lightly. Despite the cold air, body heat rediated off Jack.

Ray hums sadly. "Ok." Ray pulled their arms in to their chest. Their hands were freezing cold and they only noticed it when their hands started to warm up thanks to Jack's body heat. Ray shivers.

Jack then uses his shirt like a blanket and pulls ray into it with himself to keep them warm.

Ray's heart misses a beat when Jack pulled them into his shirt. Ray was wide awake for a few seconds because of that, but they slowly began to drift off to sleep despite it.
