Electa noticed that Princess wasn't with him and assumed the worst, which was right. She didn't say anything, figuring that if she did it would just make it worse for him.

Alister made his way to the hotel, and soon they were there. He entered the building and just waited for Electra, he was leaning against a wall and practically being unresponsive, tears finally falling from his eyes.

She came in, got a room for them, and started to the room, not looking back to see if he was following. Their room was on the first floor

Alister followed but he barely was even there anymore, it was if the real him had left and all that remained was the shell of a human being.

The room was a cozy one, complete with a couple of beds and a TV and a small bathroom. Electa didn't speak to him and just about jumped out of her skin when thunder boomed

Alister entered the room, not even looking towards Electra as he slowly placed the small slab of stone with Princess's paw print onto a nightstand. After he set his bag down on the bed he picked, which was the one closer to the door. As he started to look thru the bag, he heard the thunder boom in the distance but he didn't seem to react much, or really care at the moment. " I am gonna go take a shower.. " He mumbled, taking a change of clothes into the bathroom with him. He closed the door behind him and locked it, undressing as he turned on the shower and jumped in. He hoped the sounds of the water blocked out his uncontrollable sobs. They were nearly deafening if they were heard, and one could note the broken sound that came with them. After a few painful minutes he composed himself, turning the water off and drying himself before exiting the shower. After he got dressed in his sleep-wear and cleaned himself up a little more before he left the bathroom and sat on his bed. His eyes were puffy and red from him crying. He said nothing, and as one could feel the unsettling silence sink in again.. the thunder boomed again, more fiercely then before.

Electa yelped, and the next thing she knew she was on Alister's bed next to him, her hands clenching fistfulls of his shirt. She may or may not have been trembling ever so slightly

Alister was surprised that Electra was not only beside him, nearly clinging onto him. His eyes casted towards a window and it was then he noticed just how violent the storm had been outside. He sighed softly and asked in a calm tone, " Are you alright? " as he placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

She didn't reply. She stayed like she was, and when thunder boomed again, it was closer and louder than it was before. Electa swore, trembling more than she had been five seconds ago

Alister felt bad for her, and shifted so he could fully embrace her in a hug. " It's okay, the thunder can't hurt you.. it's all outside. You are safe.. " His voice was a still, almost somber tone and yet, it was very comforting and sweet.
