Well, she was incredibly relieved at that. She turned on her side, facing the window, her back to Vexin. Soon, she was asleep. That night, the dream came back. The memory of how her brother died.

(Aw~, poor Electa. At least Vexin was to small to fully understand why his brother wasn't coming home.)

Vex was still, he made no moves. He didn't sleep soundly, automatically his body was ready to get off the bed as if he was going to be scolded.

(Yeah...she witnessed her brother dying...I would've played the story out, but it's a long one.)

Later that night, or rather, early that morning, Electa awoke with a jolt. Her dream voice was still echoing in her hears, screaming her brother's name. Breathing hard, she swallowed and covered her eyes with her forearm. She had thought she was over this--seeing those last twenty-four hours replayed over and over again in her head. It had been almost two years now; why couldn't she just accept that Jake was never coming back? That he was gone forever and it was all Electa's fault?

On second thought, maybe there were some things that you could never accept, no matter how much time passed.

Letting her arm drop to the pillow behind her head, Electa opened her eyes. It barely made a difference; the room was almost pitch-dark, its curtains showing only the faintest sliver of light.

(Ouch. I guess I might have cried if you'd played it out.)

Vex was still asleep, or so it seemed. He'd rolled over onto his other side so his back was to Electa now, his side rose and fell steadily. He normally would have woken at least at sunrise, but even though he had he had stayed put. He was holding his glasses to his chest, just staring forward. That bracelet wasn't on his wrist now, it was ... on the bed besides him. Just ... there. Odd, why was it off and behind his back ? Vex never took it off.

(And I don't want you to feel sad, so it's a good thing I didn't, then)

As her sight adjusted to the dimness of the room, she was able to make out shapes. It was pretty obvious she wasn't about to be able to go back to sleep. She sat up and got a little dizzy from sitting up so fast, so she kind of just sat there for a couple of minutes. Electa figured that Vexin was still asleep, and she didn't want to wake him

(And I thank you for that.)

Well she might actually want to break him from his thoughts, because he was thinking of his older brother. His dear older brother that had gone out one day ... but hadn't come back. He hadn't come back to Vexin, and the boy didn't know why. But he remembered he hadn't seen his brother at curfew, but he also remembered his parents getting quite upset. His mother had gone out drinking the first time that night, wasting herself away and his father had gone of to who knows where. He had looked around the house for his brother, not realizing that his parents had left him alone at the house because his mother had been majorly greeving over her eldest son ... he'd been in a car crash over a cliff, no one knew where the truck had gone. Nor the people. He remembered his mother coming home and being ... different. His world had changed, these where the types of memories that flashed over his mind. The types of memories that Vivi's mind had locked up.

(It's no problem)

She had no idea that Vexin was awake, or that he was thinking about his older brother, the one who hadn't returned.

(*Hugz*)

That might have been for the best, he was just staring forward and his eyes where wide open. After a minute he sighed and sat up, rubbing away a few tears, and grabbed his bracelet. He shakily put it back on the same wrist and then shuddered as he realize he was on a bed.

Once Electa noticed, she just about fell out of the bed

He jumped a bit, wide teal eyes darting over in her direction. His eyes had a faint angelic like glow about them, faint but there still. He held onto that bracelet like it was his safe guard.
