The men start roping the horses near the rear of the herd. Raven and Sky are in the lead for now.

The tree's leaves move slightly as Vesta carries on towards the shoreline. A ways ahead is a strange, unfamiliar scent.

She pauses, startled by the new scent. Dilating her nostrils she sniffs carefully, trying to locate the scent's direction.

The scent is nearby slightly smelling of smoke and the sharp, sweet metalic scent of blood is also on the wind. A dead deer is lying nearby with a mysterious injury in it's side. Carefully an intruder carrying a strange stick approaches the deer.

Dove hesitates for second but follows Sky and Raven. The men couldn't get all of the horses

A few are caught but the majority of the horses escape to freedom and safety. Raven slows enough so she wcan keep up the pace back to the forest.

Dove can't stop thinking about the horses who were captured but keeps the pace

Streak follows in the air over Dover very worried about her.

Streak follows Dove until she gets to the lake. The lake has Vulpes's herd still at it which seem to be having a happy reunion.
