Alister paid and joined her outside, he looked up at the sky as well and said, " It looks lovely! It might even rain! "

She walked towards the GoodRest sign in the distance, not saying anything

As they walked Alister spotted a veterinary clinic and paused, looking to his wounded pup resting in his arms. " E-Electra.. Can we stop so I can get help for Princess? "

"This better not take too long," she grumbled

Alister just nodded and rushed into it, showing his wounded pet. They made him wait a little while but soon they took him to a room to be helped.

Electa waited outside impatiently

Alister waited for them to do what they could, he hoped Princess would be herself again soon but soon he found out that due to her side, the impact of the wound was so great that although she could live, she would live in pain for the rest of her years. The thought hurt Alister, and he wasn't cruel enough to do that to something he loved so much. After a lot of discussion, Alister decided it best to put his beloved pet down so she didn't have to be in so much pain.. She wouldn't of lived a happy life being in pain, she is going to a better place He told himself sadly. They have him a slab of stone with her pawprint on it, her name at the top, and the days date. " Can.. can you maybe find someone to cremate her and put her in a urn? I'll pay extra.. " The workers nodded, and told him to return the next day. Alister walked out of that place within 30 minutes.. but he returned with the look of a broken man, in his hands the little stone slab and his eyes glossy with held back tears.. " Lets.. lets go.. " he mumbled, not looking at Electra as he started to walk.
