Whatever confidence she had that moment disappeared when he said that, and blush resumed control of her face. She lowered her face and covered her mouth a bit. She couldn't help the toxic thoughts she had for s split second. My body isn't at all gorgeous. It's scarred, and I'm too skinny. I'm comparable to a skeleton. But she took a moment, and pushed those thoughts away. If anything, Evan had already accepted her, for just being herself.
Revival looked up again, her face still rosy from embarrassment, but she was smiling just a tiny bit.
"Seeing you embarrassed is nice for a change." She teased ever so slightly. After she said that, she gently took his hands into her own, rubbing her thumbs across the back of both of his hands.

He shifted uncomfortably for a moment, averting her gaze for a moment. " I am only embarrassed because I.. never mind. " He said as for a moment he lifted his hands to adjust a tie he wasn't wearing. He was practically a mess at that, but it was really something cute to see. How possibly could he be this embarrassed? He smiled though when she took his hands in hers. " You know.. I shall never get used to the feel of your touch. " He said sweetly, now looking her in the eyes again.

Revilla laughed a bit in her mind, taking note the signs he was giving concluded she'd embarrassed him. She smiled up at him when he said that, brushing her hair of out her eyes for a moment.
"I don't think I've felt anymore comfortable with someone's touch my entire life." She admitted softly, glancing at the floor before looking back up.
"I guess there's something I never told you." She said with a smile and a bit of a blush. "The first time you talked to me, I was terrified, not of you strangely, but I was terrified that you'd get to know me and get hurt. Then you came back, despite having knowledge of who I was, and why I was here. That touched me."

Evan watched her with a caring gaze, it was just something about her, something undefined that made him want to protect and care for her for so long as he could do so. He just couldn't figure out what it was, not that he minded that at all. It was just a little odd for him he guessed. He snapped out of his trance like state at her voice, but hearing her words made his heart hurt with a pain he was growing familiar with, and an anger that burned from the depths of his core to those whom had hurt her. He was silent for a moment, almost seething with anger but he calmed again while surprised at her words. It was interesting of her to say but at the same time he couldn't help but feel glad that things had gone the way they did. " If I judged each book simply by the cover dear, I would never read. " His words although simple had deep meaning to him. It was something he always remembered throughout his life. " Besides.. I really just had wanted to make sure you weren't lonely, or needing help here and there. I would of felt horrible if I pushed you away from what I heard.. What happened isn't and never shall be your fault. "

Revilla smiled at that. It was a bit odd to her, she'd been told so many of the same words. "It's not your fault", "You'll be alright", "You don't have to be scared", but his words meant something. They weren't hollow or meaningless. She loved that, with all her heart.
Even though she knew it wasn't true, she always had those thoughts cross her mind. It doesn't stop me from blaming myself though. I could have run away. Called the police that instant. Fight them with all my strength. I could've done so much more. She thought.
Revilla took a calm breath, and again like before, she just let the those angry and bitter words go. No. It would never be her fault.
"Thank you for being the one to tell me that." She smiled softly, staring off into space a little bit.

A gentle smile tugged at his lips, he liked seeing her happy.. or at the very least okay. At the very least seeing her stable was a good thing. " My pleasure darling. " He replied back in an equally soft voice. He had an idea for conversation and asked, " I was wondering if you maybe wanted to hear some of the stuff I used to sing..? "

Revilla's eyes seemed to light up at the question, and she nodded vigorously.
"I would love to! I have to admit I was very curious when you said you could sing. I love singing and music very much." She beamed, clearly cheerful despite her arms throbbing. If anything, he was taking the pain away from them.

He couldn't help but to grin a wide, joyous grin seeing her like that. He stood up and went to a drawer pulling out a small radio with a CD player along with a disk before sitting beside her again. " I am not entirely sure which songs this one has exactly, but I am pretty sure they were my best ones. " He said putting in the disk and starting it up.. he was mistakened on this disk for he thought it would be some of his best solo's the whole way through.. but it started up with a duet of Dusk till Dawn. His voice was familar, but a much more energetic, strong, melodious tone.. the unfamilar voice was that of a females, hers sweet and soft unlike the proud tone Evan sang in. His skin seemed to crawl with rememberence but he stayed calm. In truth, he hated this one now as he had remembered now whom he had sang with..

Revilla watched in curiosity and excitement, leaning over on the edge of the bed to watch him grab the disk and such. She sat back once he had put it in, listening to the music. Her eyes softened as she listened, a soft smile on her face. Revilla noted the energy and strength his voice gave, and also noted the female's softer voice. She liked the way they sounded together, but when she looked over at his expression, she knew the song, or rather, the woman he sang it with brought back some memories he didn't like.
Still though, she loved it. She closed her eyes for a moment, taking in the tune with a soft smile on her face. She hadn't listened to music in quite some time. It was something her and her father used to do together, and after all that happened, she felt sick when she listened to music of any kind. Now, a warm feeling filled her chest as she listened.
