Sigh. Really? My gosh, he's almost dies a few times so it just seems like it's going to happen. Not like he hasn't had to keep you and Puck from dying multiple times. Heck, Puck almost fully died. He would have if dear old Drago dude didn't say nothin'. Puck is lucky the kid's different, his brothers would have let him die.
He liked being held to him, his hands coming up and resting on Puck's shoulders, holding onto him.

"Yeah, you're right. Puck is lucky," he said, almost mocking the voice. Almost. He knew better, especially when the voice claimed to be able to hurt Jason. And, apparently, the voice had made Jason's life awful. He wasn't about to take the chance.

You are too, ya' know. He could have just let Puck kill you. He would have if he had been a real dragon and very heartless. Trust me, he's a lot different than both humans and dragons. He's something all of his own, different even from other Multiwings.

You say he's a coward and yet he's the one that took a bullet for Jason. Is that cowardly, or let me guess. You think it stupid? And besides, he would have because you where in horrible shape. You looked about ready to just drop dead.
