I've set up an exchange for the diamonds.
To trade using diamonds, the seller has to set up an exchange for the buyer to get off the currency exchange. (Trade -> Currency Exchange -> Select 'gold' from the drop down menu located after the 'Search For:' text. It will default to having diamond selected. Once you've hit the 'search offers' button you should be on the gold side. Look for the proper exchange: in this case it will say 1 gold (quantity) for 319 diamonds (price) listed by Niverus. Generally these exchanges will be on the last page or two of the gold exchange.
