Micah hugged him, rubbing small circles on Ray's lower back. "Hush, it can't possibly be that bad," he said softly. "Besides, Scarab is just making sure you're okay. They want you to heal almost as much as I do, I'm sure."

"Maybe. The headbut was for you to get you back for bringing me here. I want to go to bed. I'm tired. And cold." Ray complains.
Scarab, once their job was done, backs away and tells them to stay safe. They smile, only a tiny bit off on where Micah and Ray were.
Ray says a quick thank you before trying to get out of his seat, almost falling to the floor before his legs remembered what their job was and got to keeping him up.

Micah chuckled and stood up. "Thanks, Scarab. We'll try not to be back tomorrow with another injury."
He opened the door for Ray, smiling.

'Sounds good' Scarab signs and bids them farewell.
"What you laughing at?" Ray says, hardly able to piece sentences together. Sleep was trying harder to take him over. He thanks Micah and exits the place, a small and tired smile on his face.

"Nothing," Micah said, smirking and lacing his fingers with Ray's, starting towards the Demeter cabin.

"Hm. I didn't know nothing could be so entertaining." Ray slurs, focusing intently on putting one foot in front of the other and trying to keep his feet from dragging.

Micah sighed fondly and picked Ray up. "I don't trust you to walk without faceplanting."

Ray wiggled a tiny bit in Micah's arms before falling still apart from his breathing. He closes his eyes and sighs before saying, "Thankssorry you. Carry good. Love you. Night."

"Love you too. Goodnight." Micah got to the Demeter cabin and went inside, placing Ray in his bed before going to his own.

Ray fell asleep and was out like a light until the next morning when the sun was shining just above the horizon. He turns to his other side and tents his good wing over his head to block out the light before popping up and getting out of bed.
