Ruby got out a small petri dish, "I think it's a tracking device the surgens said it got loose from his shoulder when he did whatever he did. I'm not gonna lie to you it did a lot of damage to him on top of broken ribs."

Knuckles examined the chip for a moment, then growled. "I suggest you get somebody to take that far away from here as possible, then destroy it." He said. "Any other news on Ajal?"

"I planned on using my cousin Amara for that. I won't lie to you his odds aren't good, if he wakes up his odds will impove but that is a big if." Ruby said tossing the tracking device to a red wolf.

Knuckles' expression darkened, fists clenched at the frustration of being unable to do anything else to assist.

"I'm sorry but it's just the truth besides you save him." Ruby spoke, "I'm not suppose to do this but do you want to stay with him tonight to watch over him?"

"Yes." He growled.

"Okay. I'll bring in the pillow and blanket," Ruby put down the pillow and blanket on the chair next to Ajal's bed.
Ajal's breathing was steady and he seemed to be getting better.
"Phone is over there if you need anything, my number is beside it." Ruby left the room.

Knuckles nodded. It was gonna be a long night....
