He seemed to calm a little at two things. The mention of Puck and the fact that Ash actually seemed to be giving him a break. He seemed a bit shocked that Ash really would do so, no one ever had. He'd been pushed and pushed and pushed, by himself and others. But now he had the real chance ... for a breather.

He took another step back towards the house, unsure whether to stay or go back.

"o...okay." Was all Jason said, very softly and a bit more relaxed. A real break would be good for him to just let it all out without having to hurt anyone around.

Another step back. "I'll...see you around, I guess." He turned on his heel before beginning toward the house

He could probably hear Jason let out a breath and collapse to the ground, a hissing sound of his sudden increased temparture burning the ground below him and maybe even his clothes.

That really worried him, but Jason had said that he needed a break, so he was going to give him one, making sure that Puck did, too

That was a good choice. Jason stayed on his back a moment until he sat up and just let it out, he shuddered and just let himself do a few things at once. He sighed and let tears come, letting himself cry for a bit and just relax. He didn't try to stop it, he just sat and cried until his heat overwhelmed and started letting his anger seep out. Just ... letting it go. Letting go anger, resentment, hate, mistrust and so much more. He just let it out, smoke billowing from his breaths as dark purple ink seemed to seep all over him and douse his skin. His eyes changed to those flame like colors and his teeth got sharper. He just let it come, his markings bright lunar white against the purple and his rebel styled on-fire hair a drastic contrast. His wings and tail came, the top of his wing edges lined with burning bright white and purple fire, but nothing burned around him, even though his tail ended in a graceful wisp of flame.

Ash met Puck on his way back. "Hey, have you seen Jason?"
"Yup, and you can't bother him. Come on."
Puck kind of low-key hoped they had a fight and absolutely hated each other's guts

(Wow Puck, wow. xD)
He let himself fall onto his back, closing his eyes and just letting the anger go. He let it go. So many things flashed over his mind, almost taking him under until he just smiled and let out a breath. He felt it leave, he felt it relax and leave him. He just poured it out, even if it caused him to cry or rock himself and whisper that he forgave someone. He just let it, he didn't fight it for once. It all came out. All of it.

Ash pushed Puck back to the cabin. "Okay, wait, what is Jason doing?"
"He's taking a much-needed break, and so help me, I won't let you interrupt it."
