Selkie started pushing as hard as he could and if Kai didn't walk she would have been stepped on. Kai strained at the harness.

Kaladin assisted as well, although he was visibly having trouble keeping a grip.

Kaladin kept at it. "Like two cretures can do this by any means. Kai, you can rest when it's over. But for now, keep going." He managed.

Selkie saw Kaladin's determination and pushed harder stepping on Kai's tail.
Ow! She got up and pulled.
"I told you walk and help then you can rest or you will be stepped on and dragged." Selkie reminded her.

After about ten minutes and protesting muscles they got the anchor up.
"Good job." Selkie panted.
Kai panted and walked to get a drink of fresh water.
