as Elk was climbing up to the squirrel she heard a distant howl, feeling like someone was watching her she then slipped trying to make it up to the nearest branch but fell after a limb she grabbed snapped, as Elk pulled her self back up she then notice the squirrel had come back down siting on a small log then leading me to a small cave covered with green vines and a small stream running by it. elk still so confused why this squirrel was no afraid of her eating him she then pushed her feelings aside a excepted the gift the squirrel had given her

Elk tired and worn out from running she slowly walks in side a lays down and drifts off in to a deep sleep

Aspen watched silently but still did nothing. This was a battle to fight herself.

As she lay on the rock with her blood covered paws and forearms she let out a quiet whine. Man This gets harder every time.... Maybe I should have let falcon come... She tried to stand up on her own but only managed to crumple back down onto the rock. She was confident that her follower was Falcon, little did she know it was Aspen. She let out a shage breath before she Talked to him Telepathically " Alright... your were right... I cant get back on my own... So you can stop hiding and come out here and give me a hand so that I can clean myself up before morning.

Aspen stepped out from where he was hiding and realed himself. "You ok Blue?" he asked, his voice full of concern.

She spoke telepathically to him again " Yes... Sorry i thought you were Falcon... I'm just a little sore"

Aspen hurried over to Blue and looked her over, "no, no your not. Wait here." He ran into the trees and remained there for a few minutes than came speeding back. He slowed into a walk when he reached Blue. "Eat this," he handed her something that looked like a slimey grub, and then he placed large leaves over her cuts on her legs. "I always used to help the Elders when they watched rights like this -you've come off esy I can tell you, my brother nearly died when he first discovered his fire element. Father hated the fact that I helped out, he was leader but not a good one. He mauled me when he tried to chase me out Ripped my ear off, which hurt but not as much as his defaceing my Tree, the tattoo on my face -everyone gets one it when we are accepted into the clan. Everyone has one that is the tree of their name, my mother's was Yew." Aspen was talking continuesly, almost to himself. He'd been bottling it up.

She Smiled " Thanks... Sounds like you have had a life a lot like mine" With the last words her ears flattened sadly

Aspen looked at Blue carefully. "I've got your back," he said, then continued wrapping her legs.

She managed to stand up on her own and stumble off the stone
