He stopped by the edge of the water, still taking deep breaths to keep calm. He was unaware that Ash might say something of their conversation.

He wouldn't. He wouldn't say anything. Ash leaned against a nearby tree, watching Jason

As calmly as possible, he pulled his hoodie over his head so that it wouldn't get wet. He half folded it and put it to the side before he went into the water, steam literally rising up around him from his temparter touching the cool water that rushed by.

Ash watched, but not in a creepy way of any sort. Just in a curious way.

Jason didn't mind, but his scars all over looked like they where more than scars. Like burns. They wen't out of view as soon as he dunked himself down into the water. He seemed fine with the current. Right where he went under released a huge hissing sound and a puff of steam like a lot of heat had just been cooled off.

It all only made Ash wonder what Jason hadn't told him...with the burn looking things, the hissing steam

He hadn't explain to him all of it, and he didn't just catch on fire like a crazy. He had a whole other look. But for now he stayed under the water, seeming as if he just wanted to hide until he was calm again.

Ash stared at the river, zoning out a little.

It took a few long minutes for Jason to come up, some might wonder if he'd drowned if they didn't know he had gills. But after a while he did come up, taking in a breath and shaking his drenched hair out. The scars looked normal again and so did his eyes, he seemed a lot calmer and there was no more steam.

Ash watched him. "Better?"
