He wouldn't hit back. He could be annoying, but he wasn't abusive. "I do! I'm doing the class a favor by just bugging you!"

"I doubt it! You are doing it for your own amusement!" She stopped jumping, it wasn't helping....

"I mean...if this was for my own amusement, I would be doing more than just holding your phone out of reach." With his free hand, he grabbed her wrist and yanked her close. "Trust me."

Hazel was shocked a little, but that didn't last long, she was mad again.
"Let go Ian." She said in a serious tone.

"I will. But first, listen. Let me tell you that none of this is just for amusement." He was also dead serious. He lightened up and smirked after, though. "Well, most of it isn't." He let her go, still smirking. "Also, here's your phone." He offered it out to her.

Hazel grabbed her phone from his hand.
"Thanks." Her tone was still in anger but it was fading slowly. "To be honest. I was going to punch you if you didn't let go." Her face was unreadable.

He laughed. "And you're over here telling me not to call you feisty! What else would you call that? Also, you're welcome."

"Not sure what I would call it... It's just a mood I guess." She smiled a little.

"Eh, I dunno. You're always like that."

"Yep and I'm not gonna change." She crossed her arms.
